    AI Family Trees

Player houses aren't bound by this. For this game, if you want to marry into an AI house, or attempt to wipe out their line, or take hostages, and so on, you now have actual built families to deal with! This represents what the AI families look like at game start:

If you want pre-existing ties before the game starts, speak to the mods. If any of you are lucky enough to find a House with only daughters or only one child, or something to that effect, it's not likely we'll approve essentially granting you a second province from the start. Rather, Lords Paramount will have that succession crisis to deal with during the game.

Some of you have signed more Houses than you can roll. Let me know which of these you intend to drop, but the list above gives those named individuals first say on the Houses they're listed next to.

You may create home threads, vault threads and character sheets, but do not begin RP. As we start at war, everyone may start with double what you'd be allowed as per the "Starting Incomes/Promotion Money" section of the rules thread.

--- Parker Lefford, age 36 (b.247AC, killing his mother)

    Brief History

The current Lord, Harmund, was raised to the Lordship at the young age of eighteen, after his own father was slain during the Battle of Wendwater Bridge against the pretender, Daemon III Blackfyre. Not yet wed, he was thrust into Lordly politics early in life and was cautious with suits, marrying only after five years, in 241AC, the daughter of Lord Kayce. His first son was born a few years thereafter, in 243AC, and was named Raymar. It would be six years before she bore him another son, and their final child, named Godric.

Raymar would marry Alla Vikray for love, after a heated debate with his father that lasted well into the night. She was with child when the call to arms went out to fight the King's enemies in the Stepstones. It is said Godric has never married because he feared having the same argument.

In 260AC, the Westerlands marched to fight Maelys Blackfyre in the Stepstones, named the War of Ninepenny Kings. Raymar, aged 17, was squiring with his mother's family and marched with the Westerlands contingent, joining his uncles Willem and Meldred, and his cousin and Narbert (by Harmund's second brother Willem) in the field. Both Meldred and Narbert would be slain, with Willem and Raymar returning alive. Raymar would return to his first son, named Donnel. He would have another son and a daughter with his wife in 262AC and 265AC.

In 261AC the family were not summoned to war against the rebellious Reynes and Tarbecks, though in 267AC they would travel to the Rock to show Tywin Lannister fealty as he became Lord of Casterly Rock. A seven-year-old Donnel would accompany them. They would attend the Tourney at Lannisport in 276AC, in which Raymar and Donnel would both compete.

    Characters

    Harmund Lefford, Lord of Goldentooth

Harmund Lefford, Lord of Golden Tooth, Bannerman of House Lannister

Harmund Lefford was never a great swordsman: even as a young man his skills lay with thinking rather than in his sword arm. While the other young noblemen sparred with swords and impressed the ladies with feats of skill, Harmund would read books. Books of strategy, commerce, politics, fiction, family history: if it was written down he would read it. The result was a man who was far more terrifying when in charge of soldiers than when amongst them, a man far more skilled at administrating than at sword fighting, and a man far more educated than most. His mind, not his sword arm, is the most dangerous part of this man. As Lord of Golden Tooth, he keeps the precious gold mines running and maintains his Estate with care, always ensuring that no enemy of the Westerlands passes along his roads unopposed.

Harmund fought in the Fourth Blackfyre Rebellion alongside his father, and emerged from the conflict as the Lord of Goldentooth after his father fell at Wendwater Bridge, and remembers when the Tragedy of Summerhall killed the King and heir to the Iron Throne. He did not fight in the War of Ninepenny Kings, remaining behind and giving his son Raymar command of the Lefford contribution.

    Age: 64
Rank: Head of House Lefford, Lord of Golden Tooth
    Total Trait Points: 12

Military Mind (Field Battles +3): Harmund has a keen understanding of the military sciences and is a capable commander of troops in any engagement.
Administrator (Wealth +3 [15%]): Harmund takes a personal interest in ensuring the local gold mines run efficiently, and uses his education to both improve efficiency or to seek out those who can.
Cautious (Survival +3): Harmund is no warrior and he knows it. While some would call him a coward, Harmund is not foolhardy with his life.
Organiser (Logistician +3 [15%]): Harmund knows how to move large armies quickly and effectively across all terrain types.

    Auxes:

    Godric Lefford (Son), age 33
-- Edric Hill (Bastard Grandson by Godric), age 17

    Ser Raymar Lefford - Deceased

Ser Raymar Lefford, Heir of Golden Tooth

Raymar is unlike his father in many ways, sharing instead many traits of his grandfather (though he was long dead by the time Raymar was born): far more martial than Harmund, and also far crueller. Having little moral qualms over things like abuse of power, crime, torture, or murder, Raymar is an ambitious man who aims to always be the last one standing. Married to Alla Vikray, a woman he'd been close to since childhood, his marriage is one of love, rare in Westerosi nobility. It is said that at age 17, young and rash, he threatened to disavow the Lefford name and run off if his father refused.

At 17 he fought in the Stepstones as part of the Westerlands army, doing battle against Maelys Blackfyre and his Essosi armies, and returned to Westeros to meet his first child. He would have a further two afterwards. He would also fight in the Tourney of 276AC, performing with skill.

Raymar would be killed outside King's Landing while battling forces of the Crownlands and Dorne. He had been given command of Lord Tywin's left flank and vanguard, and died leading the infantry charge against the enemy centre after overrunning their right flank.

    Age: Deceased
    Rank: Heir to Golden Tooth
Marital Status: Married to a Alla Vikray
    Total Trait Points: 9
    +2 Duels
    +2 Survival
    +2 Field battles
    +3 Charisma

    Auxes:

Kyra Lefford, age 16, Raymar's daughter.

    Ser Donnel Lefford

Donnel, eldest son of Raymar, stands to inherit Goldentooth one day. Donnel is much like his father in terms of capability for cruelty, cunning and ambition, but he is also friendlier than his father ever was. 3 years older than his brother, the two are close but very different.

Donnel was first introduced to the wider Westerlands nobility at 16, fighting in the Tourney of Lannisport. He acquitted himself well and did his family proud, but was bested by more experienced knights.

    Age: 23
Rank: Eldest son of Raymar Lefford, second in line to Golden Tooth
    Marital Status: Unmarried
    Traits: 6

    Duel +2
    Survival +1
    Charisma +2
    Battles +1

    Ser Ryon Lefford

Ryon is the second son of Raymar Lefford and, as such, does not stand to inherit anything. He is much like his father, having grown up to become an ambitious, but like his brother has developed better social skills than his father possesses. He has inherited much from his grandfather's temperament, and is notably less willing to use cruelty to further his ambition.

    Age: 20
Rank: Second son of Raymar Lefford
    Traits: 6

    Duel +2
    Survival +2
    Battles +2

    -- Alys Karstark, deceased (b.255AC, d.273AC, sickness)
    -- Vickon Karstark, deceased (b. 257AC, d.273AC, sickness)

    Brief History

The current generation of House Karstark is one of tragedy. The current Lord is a child aged 15, and is the third Lord of Karhold in 8 years. Harrag Karstark was the last Lord of any standing, reigning for decades before a great sickness swept the keep in 273AC, killing not only him but also three of his six children, leaving only his heir Rickon and his third son Edwin alive.

Rickon, alas, would rule for a mere four years before himself being slain in the Gift, leading one of many rangings against the Wildling raiding parties that would often scaled the Wall or crossing the ice. Rickon was a tireless Lord, rarely ever seen within Karhold itself, campaigning within the woodlands or along the shores of the North for years at a time, fathering only two children in his thirty years of life. The children have few memories of their father, while Thoren has few memories of his mother.

Edwin, as the third son, enjoyed a great deal of freedom and was 18 years old when the sickness culled his family. He was not there to see their deaths, having taken to a life at sea. An ambitious dreamer with a love for the sea, he is a great believer in sea power and greatly admires the great naval Houses of Westeros: Manderly foremost of all, Redwyne, he even holds grudging respect for the Ironborn. He dreams of a port rivalling White Harbour on the western coast of the North, tapping into the trade lanes made rich by the presence of Lannisport and Oldtown.

Forced by circumstance to act as the regent of Karhold for the last four years, until Thoren came of age. He remains close counsel to the boy Lord, who inherited the quiet and bookish nature of his mother. His sister Liane has her father's ways, she is headstrong and adventurous, with many comparing her nature to that of the Stark girl, Lyanna.

Edwin's 3 children remain young, with Talbert being close to Liane, as they have a shared nature, young Beony dreaming of a handsome husband and a large castle to be the lady of, and the youngest, Rickon, only just starting his education.

Harrag's second son Edmund, twin to the deceased Otto, is talked of little. He attempted to take to the Faith of the Seven early in life, something his father sought to forbid. At the age of 16 he was banished, or stormed out depending on who tells the story, never to return. What became of him Edwin does not know: he left fifteen years ago and has never been heard from.

    Characters

    Thoren Karstark, Lord of Karhold

    Thoren Karstark, Lord of Karhold

Thoren is quiet but intelligent, taking much more of an interest in the task of ruling land than in waging war or in gaining proficiency with the sword. Often found in his solar reading some book or another on history or numbers, he has a keen mind but a weak body. Many would regard him as soft and compare him unfavourably to his uncle and regent, Edwin, while others would regard him as enlightened and argue that all rulers of land should be as well-read as Thoren rather than treating their martial responsibilities as paramount.

    Age: 17
    Traits: 5 points

    Wealth +2
    Survival +2
    Duels +1

Edwin Karstark, Captain of the Navy

Edwin Karstark, Regent of Karhold and Captain of the Navy

Edwin was the third son of Harrag Karstark and picked a life at sea, knowing his elder brothers were those destined to rule. This changed when he was 18 and, while at sea, heard word of a great sickness that killed many in his family. His wife and children were safe away from Karhold, and his only surviving brother would die a mere four years later in combat. Edwin has an extremely low opinion of the Night's Watch, which he labels a failed institution, and has through his lessons with Thoren blamed them for Rickon's death while also preaching on the value of looking to the sea.

    Age: 31

    Charisma +2
    Battles +1
    Duel +1

    Ser Edmund Karstark

Edmund Karstark, Knight in service to House Tyrell

The bitter outcast of House Karstark by virtue of his faith, Edmund Karstark last saw his home fifteen years ago when he left at age 16. Stories about his banishment or self-exile each hold a grain of truth: having told his father he would follow the Seven in Karhold or elsewhere, his father disowned him. He first travelled to White Harbour, the bastion of the true faith in the North, and there embarked on a ship to the south.

Edmund took what work he could while wandering the south, primarily in guarding caravans or enlisting with landed knights or minor lords as muscle in any number of petty disuptes or expeditions against banditry. This would lead him near to Highgarden on one such chase, where a local knight was tracking a mummer's troupe thought to be responsible for a string of thefts and rapes. On locating the troupe and confronting them, they attacked the knight's small party. Outnumbered and caught by surprise, many were slain and Edmund distinguished himself there in defence of his wounded master until the mummers were defeated. The party made for the nearest place where resources to save the knight's life might be found and that was Highgarden itself.

The knight would live to report of the encounter to the Lord Paramount, who had been made aware of the party's arrival and that they were clearly fresh from battle. Edmund's deeds, coupled perhaps with the sheer novelty of a Northern Knight, a Karstark no less, caused Lord Luthor to offer Edmund a home in his retinue, as a Sworn Sword. It would not be long before Edmund married, taking the daughter of a knightly house whose lands lay a day's ride from Highgarden, and who was in Highgarden as a Lady in Waiting.

    House Lannister of Lannisport

Lannisport has been the home of many Lannister branches. It is said that when Casterly Rock got too full of Lann the Clever's descendants, they moved south and created the town of Lannisport. There families with the name of Lanns, Lannetts and Lantells live, claiming ancestry with the main branch of the House of Lannister that rules the Westerlands. A number of cousins and relatives of reigning Kings of the Westerlands and the Lord Paramounts have ruled here, whether temporarily or granted hereditary rights. Their collective rule, as well as the guidance of their greater cousins, have made Lannisport into a prosperous city that rivals White Harbor and Hightower. Its ports have brought much trade from the seas to Casterly Rock and nearby settlements, enriching both its walled cities, the towering rock that is Casterly Rock nearby and other castles within its vicinity.

Since the time of Gerold the Golden, Lannisport was intended to be granted to the younger brother of Tytos Lannister, Jason. However, he died during the War of the Ninepenny Kings, unable to claim this inheritance left behind by his father. Instead, the title was passed onto Jason's eldest son, Ser Damon Lannister, who had married a Lannister cousin from the city in order to consolidate his rule over the lands granted to him. Since his arrival, a number of Jason's children and grandchildren have joined Damon. He was soon followed by Ser Stafford and his family as well as his sisters and other brothers, Gerold and Tybolt. They have since sought to work together to make Lannisport not only their home, but to enrich it to even greater heights!

    House Whent of Harrenhal

House Whent of Harrenhal is a relatively newly risen noble family to the landed gentry of the Riverlands. After the death of Danelle the Mad, when rumors were abound of her plots against the Iron Throne, during the reign of King Maekar, the Whents, who were knights of House Lothson, their predecessors, would succeed them and be granted the High Lordship of Harrenhal. Since that time, three successors have followed, leading up the wealthy and open-handed Walter Whent. His wealth and prestige allowed him to not only ensure his brother was named a member of the Kingsguard, but was able to host a tournament for which Crown Prince Rhaegar and the King, Aerys II, came to witness and participate in. It was at this very same tournament that all the realm saw Rhaegar crown Lyanna Stark, betrothed of Robert Baratheon, as the Queen of Beauty at the tournament. Motives have since circulated that the Whents are aligned with Rhaegar and believed the tournament was a move to see if the realm supported the Crown Prince as well.

However, early in the year 281 AC, Walter Whent mysteriously died in his sleep, the diagnose believing to be the Curse of Harrenhal itself. Upon his death, Duncan Whent, his eldest son, would succeed him as Lord of Harrenhal.

    House Tyrell of Highgarden

House Tyrell of Highgarden were once Stewards of the extinct House Gardener, Kings of the Reach. Yet when the last of their family was extinguished during the Field of Fire, Aegon the Conqueror would be greeted by the Steward of Highgarden, Harlan Tyrell, who knelt before the King, surrendering the mighty keep of the Reach to the conquering Targaryen. When Harlan rose, he was named Lord Paramount of the Reach and Lord of Highgarden, much to the disappointed of other nobles of the Reach. Since then, the Tyrells have ruled for close to three centuries, with an iron fist or a cowardly grip. They have remained among the Targaryens greatest loyalist, fighting for Daeron II during the First Blackfyre Rebellion in most recent times. Despite being raised from Stewards, the Tyrells have ensured that the Reach has remained strong and prosperous, loyal and united.

Almost two decades ago, Luthor Tyrell, would die after falling off a cliff. He was believed to be a man who never was attentive and thus his death was known to be inevitable. He was succeeded by his son, Mace, who has proven to be a man of boastful reputation and gluttonous. Yet he is a handsome young Lord, a dutiful father to his three young sons and diligent husband to his wife. His future remains uncertain, but it is widely suspected that the Reach nobility hope age changes the young Mace. At this present day, it is said that Highgarden is filled with Tyrells, descendants of Mace's grandfather, great-grandfather and beyond.

    House Clegane

    Gregor Clegane

Biography: Ser Gregor Clegane is the Knight of Clegane's Keep and is the head of House Clegane, which are landed knights and bannermen to House Lannister.
Gregor Clegane is well known for his size, cruelty, and prowess in battle. Gregor is extremely tall (he is close to eight feet in height). He has "massive shoulders and arms thick as the trunk of small trees." Gregor weighs over thirty stone (420 lbs), nearly all of it muscle, making him near inhumanly strong. Gregor's strength allows him to wield a six-foot, two-handed greatsword with just one hand, giving him enormous reach while still wielding a shield. Such is the power of Gregor's strength that he has been known to hack men in half with just a single blow.
In battle he wears the heaviest, thickest plate armor in the Seven Kingdoms. His armor is so heavy that no ordinary man would be able to move, let alone fight effectively while wearing it, making him nigh-invincible in combat. Below the plate he wears chainmail and boiled leather. He also wears a plate helm with only a narrow slit for vision, atop of which is a stone fist punching up towards the sky. Gregor carries an extremely thick oaken shield bearing the three black dogs of House Clegane on a yellow field. Loyal to Tywin Lannister.

    Age: 23

    Traits:
    +3 Survival
    +3 Duel

    Sandor Clegane

Biography: Sandor Clegane is a member of House Clegane. He is the younger brother of the current head, Ser Gregor Clegane. He is nicknamed the Hound for his savage nature and unquestioning obedience to his masters and for the three dogs featured in his family's crest. He is considered one of the most dangerous fighters in Westeros, though he frequently drinks himself into stupors. As a child, Sandor received gruesome facial burns when Gregor shoved his face into a brazier. He came to loathe fire, his brother, and the hypocrisy of knighthood in general. Sandor is a huge and heavily-muscled man. The right side of his face is gaunt, with sharp cheekbones and a heavy brow. His nose is large and hooked, his long hair is dark and thin and brushed so that it covers the left side since no hair grows there. The left side of his face is a ruin with no ear but only a hole. There is a twisted mass of scar around his good left eye. Slick black flesh is pocked with craters and deep cracks that ooze red and wet. His eyes are grey. On his jaw, bone shows. He regularly wears plain armor and a distinctive helm sculpted into the shape of a snarling dog's head. Loyal to Tywin Lannister.

    House Lannister of Casterly Rock

    Hear me Roar!

House Lannister of Casterly Rock is one of the Great Houses of Seven Kingdoms, and the principal house of the Westerlands. Their seat is Casterly Rock, though another branch exists that is based in nearby Lannisport. Their sigil is a golden lion on a field of crimson. Their official motto is "Hear Me Roar!" However, their unofficial motto, equally well known, is "A Lannister always pays his debts." The Warden of the West is traditionally a Lannister.

Fair-haired, tall, and handsome, the Lannisters are the blood of Andal adventurers who carved out a mighty kingdom in the western hills and valleys. Through the female line they boast of descent from Lann the Clever, the legendary trickster of the Age of Heroes, who became the first King of the Rock, after tricking the members of House Casterly into giving him Casterly Rock. The gold of Casterly Rock, Castamere, the Pendric Hills and the Golden Tooth has made them the wealthiest of the Great Houses, the keep at Casterly Rock sits literally on top of a gold mine, built into the very rock. From that lofty yet uncomfortable position, House Lannister rules over the Westerlands and influences all of Westeros, by virtue of the kingdom’s purse strings.

Not actually signing up Corbray since Baratheon is enough for me

    House Baratheon
    Ours is the Fury

    Family tree
Ormund Baratheon, Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. Spouse: Rhaelle Targaryen. b. 220 AL d. 260 AL
-Steffon Baratheon, Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. Spouse: Cassana Estermont. b. 246 AL, d. 278 AL
--Robert Baratheon, Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. Betrothed: Lyanna Stark. b. 262 AL
    --Steffon Baratheon, b. 263 AL
    --Alyssa Baratheon, b. 267 AL
    ~~Mya Storm, bastard. b. 265 AL
    -Desmond Baratheon, b. 247 AL

    Robert Baratheon

    Age: 20 (born 262 AL)
Rank/Titles: Lord Paramount of the Stormlands
    Traits (6):Charisma +2, Battles +2, Duels +2
    Spouse: Lyanna Stark (Betrothed)
Biography: Born in 262 AL as the first child to Lord Steffon Baratheon and Lady Cassana Estermont, Robert Baratheon had always been the designated heir of Storm's End. At the age of 8, Robert was sent to the Eyrie to be fostered by the wise Lord Jon Arryn. It was there that he would grow up with Eddard Stark, second son of Lord Rickard Stark. Robert excelled in the physical aspects of his studies, being tall and muscular. Despite his mentor's best efforts, Robert never could resist the charms of a pretty wench, or a tankard of ale.
In 278 AL, Robert was 16 years of age. It was then that his father and mother were sent to Essos to seek an eligible match for Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, a journey they would not return alive from. After failing to complete their assigned task, the Lord and Lady of Storm's End would die as their ship was taken by the sea, in sight of Storm's End. Robert, who together with his brother Stannis had been watching from the walls of Storm's End, would never be the same. He turned more serious, less interested in carnal pleasures and fun, but even more dedicated to his martial training.

    Stannis Baratheon

    Age: 19 (born 263 AL)
    Rank/Titles: Heir of House Baratheon
    Traits (5): +2 Battles, +2 Logistician, +1 Survival
    Spouse: None
Biography: Stannis, unlike his older brother Robert, was never one for brawling or parties. He had always been a rather serious boy, never interested in swordplay or jousts, but excelling in the classroom of the Maester. At the age of 8, he was sent to Riverrun to be fostered in Hoster Tully's care, a man who's personality seemed to align quite well with Stannis' own personality.

After his parents' deaths, Stannis found solace in books and conversations with his mentor and the maester of Riverrun. It was said that he never shed as much as a tear, staying true to his stoic persona.

    Alyssa Baratheon

    Age: 15 (born 267 AL)
    Rank/Titles: Sister of Robert
    Traits(5): Charisma +3, Survival +2
    Spouse: None
Biography: Third and last child of the union between Lord Steffon Baratheon and Lady Cassana Estermont, Alyssa Baratheon grew up under the care of her parents, unlike her brothers who were sent off to be educated elsewhere. She received a typical training for a lady-in-waiting. When her parents died, Alyssa was 11 years old. She put up with the loss remarkably well, continuing her studies under the care of her uncle Desmond and the many ladies of the court.

It is said Alyssa holds remarkable beauty and a golden tongue. Her slender figure, however, betrays her resilience both physical and mental.

    Desmond Baratheon

    Age: 35 (born 247 AL)
Rank/Titles: Uncle of Robert, castellan of Storm's End
    Traits (9): +3 Battles, +3 Duels, +2 Survival, +1 Joust
    Spouse: None
Biography: Only surviving brother of Lord Steffon Baratheon, Desmond was never a man who took to the spotlight. He preferred to be in the shadow of his older brother, serving him loyally and spending his time teaching the many youngsters of Storm's End in the art of war. After his brother passed away, however, Desmond assumed the position of Castellan, managing the day to day affairs of Storm's End while waiting for Lord Robert to join him at the castle.

    Mya Storm

    Age: 17 (born 265 AL)
    Rank/Titles: Bastard sister of Robert
    Traits (5): +2 Assassin, +2 Charisma, +1 Capture
    Spouse: None
Biography: Rumored to be the bastard child of Lord Steffon Baratheon, Mya Storm was raised alongside the commoner children in the castle. Her cheery demeanor and striking visage, however, betrayed the notion that Mya was just a regular girl. Unlike many of her peers, she had grace, and knew how to manipulate her elders. As the child got more and more attention in the castle, rumors that she was a Baratheon bastard got louder and louder, but were never confirmed. It is said, however, that Ser Desmond spent much of his spare time tutoring the young girl in secret.

Jon Arryn was born in wintry year following the Third of the Blackfyre Rebellions, in the 220th year since the arrival of Aegon and his ilk to the mainland shores of Westeros. His parents were Jasper Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie, and Bethany Arryn, who were first cousins; Jon was named for his uncle, who was later killed by mountain clansmen. In 233 AC, as a boy of thirteen years, he attended, in his grandfather's household, the Great Council which chose to crown Aegon V after the death of Maekar I. Here, he briefly spoke to the infamous Bloodraven shortly before the latter's exile to the Wall. From there, he remained in King's Landing for the remainder of that winter as a ward of King Aegon V. When spring came in 236, Jon was 16, and can recall to this day riding into battle at Wendwater Bridge alongside famed figures who today are considered bygone heroes of ages past, most notably Duncan the Tall.

Decades of a relatively peaceful youth followed. Tournaments across the realm were a favorite pursuit of Jon for some many years until he inherited the Eyrie and rule of the Vale in 250 AC, when his father choked to death. In 240, Jon took his first wife, Jeyne Royce, but she and their only child died in 248 on the birthing bed. In 254 he married again, this time to his cousin Rowena, but the marriage was loveless and childless, ending in 272 when Rowena died of a winter chill.

In the 260th year since the conquest, the Ninepenny Kings banded together; King Jaehaerys II, who Jon knew personally from his time as a ward of Aegon V, called for chivalry of Westeros to smash the foe upon the Stepstones, and so House Arryn led banners of the Vale south and eastwards. Jon fought on the stepstones alongside countless other lords, and stood attendant as Tywin Lannister knighted Prince Aerys.

In the aftermath, Jon remained in King's Landing until the death of Jaehaerys in 262 - Aerys, the new king, had no seeming need of the Lord of the Eyrie, and he returned to the Vale.

Since 271 AC, Jon Arryn has been the guardian of two powerful wards - Eddard Stark, the second son of the Lord of Winterfell, and Robert Baratheon, heir (and now Lord) of Storm's End.

Marital Status: Widowed (Wife: Minisa Whent, d. 278 AL)
    Children: Catelyn, Lysa, Edmure
    Skill(s): 10 points: +3 Battles, +3 Survival, +2 Wealth, +2 Logistician

Hoster is a tall and broad-shouldered man with the Tully blue eyes and red hair, and the oldest son of Axel Tully, the previous Lord of the Riverlands. In his youth, together with his brother Brynden he served in the War of the Ninepenny Kings, where he met a bevy of future lords and befriended some of them. One was none other than Steffon Baratheon, who sent his second son Stannis to foster at Riverrun many years later. With Stannis' older brother Robert fostered in the Vale beneath old Lord Jon alongside the second son of the Stark family, and Hoster arranging the betrothal of his eldest daughter Catelyn to the Stark heir in turn, an outside observer could be forgiven for noticing that a Baratheon-Tully-Stark-Arryn axis was emerging...

As a child and adolescent, the Lord of Riverrun was a man of boundless, irrepresible energy who could hardly sit still and loved to travel to new places. Now in his 43rd year however, Hoster's passions have cooled long ago, leaving him a calm and mild-mannered thinker. Unlike his more warlike little brother, Hoster was never a great warrior, though he excelled in his studies of strategy and is perfectly comfortable with commanding battles from the safety of the rear.

    Catelyn Tully

    Age: 18 (b. 264 AL)
    Rank(s): Lady
Marital Status: Betrothed to Brandon Stark
    Children: None
    Skill(s): 5 points: +2 Charisma, +2 Capture, +1 Wealth

Catelyn is the eldest surviving child of Lord Hoster and his lady wife Minisa Whent, the majority of her siblings (including two elder brothers) having died in infancy. A beautiful young woman with high cheekbones, long fingers, porcelain skin, blue eyes and the deep red hair common to Tullys, she was considered the finest catch the family had to offer - until, of course, she was made unavailable by a betrothal to the heir of the North, one Brandon Stark. Despite having never met her intended before her father announced the betrothal and thus knowing virtually nothing about him, Catelyn's beauty is matched by her sense of duty, and so she did not protest against her father's decision. The lucky Stark can expect her to be a strict but duty-bound and eternally faithful wife, in time...if, of course, they ever make it to their marriage ceremony...

    Lysa Tully

    Age: 16 (b. 266 AL)
    Rank(s): Lady
    Marital Status: N/A
    Children: None
    Skill(s): 5 points: +2 Charisma, +2 Assassin, +1 Capture

Lysa is the middle child of Hoster's brood, and his second daughter. A pretty and slender girl with lighter blue eyes than either of her siblings, she shares many features with her big sister Catelyn - but only physically, for emotionally the two are night and day. Where Catelyn is calm, level-headed and down-to-earth, Lysa is flighty and much more overtly emotional, a romantic dreamer with her head stuck in the clouds. When Stannis Baratheon entered the Tully household as her father's ward she took a liking to him immediately, and as they both left childhood and entered adolescence this liking has evolved into a full-blown crush, one where Lysa can at times even be aggressively clingy to the younger of the Baratheon Stags.

    Edmure Tully

    Age: 12 (b. 270 AL)
    Rank(s): Squire
    Marital Status: N/A
    Children: None
    Skill(s): 4 points: +2 Duels, +1 Battles, +1 Survival

Edmure is the only son and heir of Lord Hoster. Still a young boy of only twelve years, he is nonetheless old enough to serve as a squire. His fiery hair is matched by his recklessness, passion and short temper, but on the other hand he can be surprisingly quick to forgive slights, trusting of others and empathetic.

    Ser Brynden Tully the Blackfish

    Titles: Ser, The Blackfish
    Age: 39 - Born 243 AC
    Traits:
    +3 Battles
    +3 Duels
    +3 Charisma

Brynden Tully is a hard man, fierce and ambitious. Known for his stubborn nature and quick temper, he is not a man to cross.

He keeps a rather Spartan appearance, wearing simple clothes - usually black - and black scale mail armour. His only jewellery is a broach in the shape of a leaping trout made from black obsidian to fasten his cloak.

Brynden Tully is a veteran of several battles and wars - most famous being the Battle of the Stepstones in the War of the Ninepenny Kings. A skilled soldier and a good leader, the Blackfish inspires his men and fights alongside them - he is known to be a loyal enough man unless crossed.

    House Hightower

    HOUSE HIGHTOWER, LORDS OF OLDTOWN

    THE HOUSE OF HIGHTOWER
    (Art by Oznerol-1516)

House Hightower of Oldtown is perhaps the oldest noble family in the entirety of Westeros, an ancient lineage that, it is said by Maesters, perhaps even predates the arrival of the First Men to Westeros. Whatever the truth, the Hightowers have made the mysterious fortress of black stone upon Battle Isle their home since their arrival to Westeros - a structure that has continued to spiral upwards and evolve into what it is today: the tallest building structure in all the world, having outgrown even the Wall built to safeguard the realms of men from the march of Winter. Around the Hightower sprung Oldtown, the oldest and most prosperous city of Westeros; the centre of trade, science, and learning. Whilst King's Landing has recently become the most populous, the wattle and daub slums of the capital pale in comparison to the magnificence of Oldtown's cobbled streets and cosmopolitan environment. It is as the masters of this city that the Hightowers have risen to the greatest prominence, growing rich and powerful off of the commerce that comes from both Essos and the Summer Islands. Though they are vassals of the Tyrell lords of the Mander, they are an authority unto themselves, rarely meddling in the politics of the wider realm. However, history has proven that the Hightowers can rise to the very top, if they so wish, with the Hightowers proving to be the spine of Aegon II's cause during the Dance of Dragons that tore the realm apart two centuries ago.

In recent years, the ageing Lord Leyton is growing ever more reclusive, and though he does retain an active role in the governing of Oldtown and its dependencies, his sons have recently began to bear the mantle of rulership upon his behalf. Lord Leyton's uncle, Ser Gerold Hightower, remains as the Lord Commander of the famed Kingsguard of Aerys II Targaryen, protecting the Lady Stark on behalf of Rhaegar Targaryen, the Prince of Dragonstone. Along with Lord Leyton's general indifference to the rebellion (his inclination to merely follow the lead of his liege, Lord Tyrell) this places Hightower firmly in the royalist camp. Already, Leyton's eldest sons Baelor and Garth prepare the soldiery of Oldtown to assist in the coming battles against the Stormlander rebels that they shall almost certainly clash with in due course.

    Lord Leyton Hightower

Lord Leyton Hightower, Voice of Oldtown, Lord of The Port, Lord of the Hightower, Defender of the Citadel, Beacon of the South:

    Age: 55

Marital Status: To Alysanne Roxton (Deceased), Margaery Fowler (Desceased), Elinor Costayne (Deceased), Rhea Florent

    Traits:
    +1 charisma
    +3 wealth
    +3 survival
    +3 joust
    +2 duels

Bio: The aged Lord of Oldtown is a wearied and reclusive man, born when his father was a young knight and his grandfather, Lord Uthor, still ruled Oldtown. Until recently, Leyton had been a known athlete and tourney goer, taking part in the sport of the joust as recently as the tourney of Storm's End some five years past. However, Hightower now spends more of his time in the solitude of the eponymous fortress, largely leaving the management of Oldtown to his two eldest sons. He is approaching the twilight of a long and fruitful life, though it has not been without grief. Three wives has Lord Leyton outlived. The first was claimed by the exertions of childbirth, and died bringing his eldest daughter, Malora, into the world. The second was taken by an outbreak of pox, and the third broke her neck upon falling from a horse. His fourth marriage, to lady Rhea Florent, had been long and happy, resulting in the final four of Leyton's children. Lord Hightower has begun to retreat from the world, often disappearing from existence for weeks on end within the Hightower before re-emerging as if little had changed. Many whisper that he consults books of forbidden spells with Malora (who remains locked away in the Hightower, due to her raving bouts of madness) but the knowledge of his activities seemingly rests alone with himself.

    Baelor Brightsmile

Ser Baelor Brightsmile, Son and Heir of Lord Leyton.

    Age: 32 (Born 250 AL)

Marital Status: Wed, to Rhonda Rowan

    Traits:
    +2 charisma
    +2 survival
    +1 wealth
    +3 joust

Bio: The eldest son of Lord Leyton Hightower and Lady Alysanne Roxton is handsome, courteous, and witty; a man of impeccable reputation as a font of honour and chivalric virtue - interested in higher learning as well as martial pursuits. A competent administrator, Baelor already managed many of Oldtown's affairs on behalf of his father, and is therefore already considered an able replacement when Lord Leyton's time comes. Baelor was once thought of as a potential suitor for Elia of Dorne, though the match came to nothing, the Princess eventually marrying Rhaegar Targaryen. Baelor was therefore matched with Rhonda Rowan, a daughter of the then current Lord of Goldengrove. Though their marriage is happy, it has of yet produced no children.

    Garth Greysteel

Ser Garth Greysteel, second son of Lord Leyton

    Age: 26 (Born 256 AL)

    Marital Status: Unmarried

    Traits:
    +3 duels
    +3 battles
    +1 survival

Bio: Born to Lord Leyton's second wife, Lady Fowler, Garth is the second son of the Lord Hightower and thus stands as the eldest of the "spares", those who live in the shadow of Baelor. Garth has dealt with this by modelling himself upon his great-uncle, the White Bull, rigorously training in the arts of war, and apparently hopes to eventually take Ser Gerold's place in the Kingsguard - a rumour that has only increased thanks to Greysteel's disinterest in any and all suitors, as well as women in general. Though Greysteel can, on the surface, seem to be a gruff-mannered brute, this coarse exterior masks a surprising intellect and a sharp wit. With news of the rebellion against Aerys taking shape, Greysteel has devoted his time to ensuring that the defensive and offensive capability of Oldtown is up to the highest possible standard; he stands ready to lead the forces of Hightower into battle against the traitor Robert Baratheon and his allies.

Ser Gerold Hightower, The White Bull

Ser Gerold Hightower, the White Bull, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard

    Age: 68 (Born 214 AL)

    Marital Status: Celibate

    Traits:
    +3 duels
    +3 battles
    +3 jousts
    +3 survival

Bio: One of the finest knights of his era, Ser Gerold Hightower remains fearsome even in his old age, able to best warriors in their prime several decades younger than himself at either the joust or in the melee. The younger son of the ancient Lord Uthor Hightower, Gerold joined the order of the Kingsguard at twenty five, when Ser Duncan the Tall still held the position of Lord Commander. Gerold distinguished himself during his time in the order, being named as Duncan's successor following the legendary Lord Commander's demise in 259 AL. At the Stepstones, Ser Gerold took command of the royal host after the demise of Ormund Baratheon, leading the royalist forces to victory over the last Blackfyre pretender. After the war, he accepted Barristan Selmy into the order. Later on, Gerold was injured in the hand during the Kingswood Brotherhood incident, and thus on the periphery of that engagement, but did induct Jaime Lannister into the order following the Tourney of Harrenhal.

Gerold Hightower is incredibly loyal to the ideal of the Kingsguard, as well as their sacred duty as the sole guardians of the monarch. Often, Gerold tries to offer reassurance to those who are shaken by Aerys' bouts of homicidal madness. However, even his faith in the King was particularly shaken when Rickard Stark was burned alive in the very throne room itself on the Mad King's orders, as well as by Rhaegar's own reckless actions in the abduction of Lyanna Stark. Nonetheless, he still serves his Prince steadfastly, guarding his lover in the Red Mountains of Dorne rather than taking part in the fighting.

    Hightower Family Tree:
Lord Uthor Hightower m. Lady Aemma Cuy

    House Velaryon

''The old, The True, The Brave''

House Velaryon of Driftmark is an ancient and proud house with the blood of Valyria in its reins, before the doom of Valyria they were already closely allied to the Targaryen dynasty, because of their Valyrian ancestry the Velaryons have often Valyrian features like silver hair and purple eye's. Even before the Targaryens, the Velaryons went to Westeros and occupied Driftmark. The Velaryons filled their coffers by gaining monopoly over the passing trade and Velaryon ships dominated the middle reaches of the narrow sea while their allies, the Targaryens, ruled the skies with their dragons. After the doom of Valyria the Velaryons continued to maintain close ties to the Targaryens often marrying with them. Under the reign of Aerys II they have been granted the position of ''master of ships'' in the small council. During the Dance of the Dragons they supported the Blacks against the Greens as Corlys Velaryon married princess Rhaenys Targaryen.

In more recent history the Velaryons have been granted the position of 'master of ships' (Lucerys Velaryon) under Aerys' reign making them pretty much very loyal to the Targaryen cause.

    Rhaella Targaryen

    Born : 246 AC
    Age : 36 years

    Rank : Queen-Consort
Marital status : Married to her brother, Aerys II Targaryen''the mad''
Children : Prince Rhaegar, Prince Viserys. (Not counting those who died in stillbirth or died in infancy)
    Traits : +3 survival, +3 wealth, +1 charisma, +2 assassin.

Biography : Born in the year of 246 AC by her father King Jaehaerys II Targaryen and her mother Shaera Targaryen she was the only daughter of her parents, she has also one brother Aerys. During her youth Rhaella fell in love with Ser Bonifer Hasty ''the good'', an impossible love that was doomed to fail from the start on as Ser Bonifer was of far too low birth to be ever considered a suitable suitor for a princess of the royal line, he even chose her as 'Queen of Love and Beauty' during their brief love. Instead she was wed to her brother Aerys at a young age at the command of her father to secure the proper Targaryen bloodline. On the wedding day it is believed that Rhaella had no love for her now husband. In 259 AC she gave birth to Prince Rhaegar whilst the tragedy of Sumerhall raged, during this tragedy her grandfather Aegon died and her father Jaehaerys succeeded the throne only to die three years later. Now both Rhaella and Aerys were both crowned Queen-consort and King respectively. As Queen (and princess before that) she had multiple high ranking Ladies in waiting in her service including Lady Joanna Lannister and the mother of Pronce Doran Martell.

Following Rhaegar's birth Rhaella and Aerys had much trouble in producing children, most of her pregnancies ended in stillbirth or the newborns died in infancy, at first Aerys comforted her during this grievous times but later grew suspicious of her claiming that she had been unfaithful and that her dead children are bastards, then Aerys ordered two septa's to sleep in the same bad as hers to ensure she was not unfaithful, something she felt miserable by. After the death of prince Jaeharys the kings suspicions fell upon Rhaella's wetnurse, accusing her of poisoning the children, he later had her executed. During the birth of Prince Viserys aerys had the newborn prince constantly guarded, even Rhaella was not allowed to be alone with her son.

During the later years of their marriage Aerys became more and more insane and began to physically hurt and rape Rhaella much to her dismay, often hurting her so hard that bruises, scratches and bite marks were all to be seen over her abused body, despite her cries for help, nobody helped her. It is during these years that she tries to do her best to protect her children from their father's madness, instead she tries to educate them the best she can how a good monarch should behave, hoping that her own children do not take after their father.

    HOUSE CRAKEHALL OF CRAKEHALL

    Lord Roland "Redtusk" Crakehall

    Age: 57 - Born 225 AC
Appearance: Lord Crakehall is a grizzled old man. His face bears heavy scarring, he is missing his left eye and his left hand. He has a short and well kept beard with hair pulled tightly back into a pony tail. His once copper hair is now run through heavily with grey. He walks with a heavy limp in his right leg - requiring a cane. He is tall and slender, and still has plenty of muscle for an old man.
    Traits:
+3 Charisma (Lord Crakehall may be fierce, but he is also genuinely amicable and friendly.)
+3 Battles (A veteran commander, Lord Crakehall has been to the wars and back.)
+3 Wealth (Years of rule have provided a keen knowledge of finance and accounts.)
+2 Logistician (Adept at planning a quick and efficient campaign.)
+1 Survival (A lifetime of experience has made this man hard to kill.)

Lord Roland Crakehall is the second born son of the previous Lord Crakehall. He spent his youth fighting as a mercenary from Westeros to Essos and took part in the War of the Ninepenny Kings. His elder brother was his father's heir for many years, until he was disowned in a dispute over marriage.

As the next in line, Roland became Lord Crakehall.

He gained the name Redtusk after surviving a near fatal encounter with a boar - an incident which gave him his lifelong limp and hampered his ability with a sword. When the beast was killed, its tusks were so stained with Roland's blood, that he took the tusks and the hide of the boar, fashioning the hide into a cloak and one tusk being made into a horn. The other tusk was added to his shield. The boar's skull adorns Lord Roland's personal standard to this day.

    Spouse: Deceased

    Traits:
    +3 Charisma
    +2 Wealth
    +2 Battles
    +1 Capture
    +1 Logistician

The eldest son and heir of Lord Roland Crakehall. He is tall, with short copper hair and a mustache. A handsome man, he is the spitting image of his father in his youth, he rejects the traditional robustness and strength of a Crakehall and takes a tall and slender appearance.

Spouse: Unmarried - First Wife deceased
    Children:
    Beric Crakehall - 19, Born 263 AC
Ralf Crakehall - 16, Born 266 AC (Twin to Olenna)

    Age: 30, Born 252 AC
    Traits:
    +3 Duels
    +3 Survival
    +2 Joust

Once again, Bronn Crakehall is far from a traditional Crakehall. He is slender but shorter than his brothers. His hair is black and he goes clean shaven. A brilliant duelist, he possesses a rather mean personality and is known for his sly and fox like nature.

    Spouse: N/A
    Children:
    Balon Hills - 10, Born 272 AC

    Ser Alaister Crakehall

    Age: 24, Born 258

Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning

    Biography
    Age: 22, Born 260 AC
    Traits:
+3 Duels (A skilled warrior, a valiant and true knight, the Sword of the Morning and the Mightiest of the Kingsguard.)
+3 Joust (The Sword of Morning has won many tourneys.)
    Weapon: Dawn

Ser Arthur Dayne is perhaps the most noble and chivalrous knight in all of Westeros. His skill with his blade, Dawn, is legendary and Ser Arthur is reputed to be the mightiest of the Kingsguard. Perhaps the most famous deed of Ser Arthur Dayne was his defeat of the Smiling Knight in the Battle of the Kingswood Brotherhood.

In 276 AC, Ser Arthur broke 12 lances in a joust against Prince Rhaegar at the Tourney of Storm's End. Prince Rhaegar won the joust in the end. The two once again had a rematch at the Tourney of Harrenhal in 281 AC, but once again Prince Rhaegar bested him.

The Sword of the Morning was also involved with Prince Rhaegar's kidnap of Lyanna Stark - Ser Arthur Dayne was loyal and obedient to his Prince, no matter the order.

    House Florent of Brightwater Keep

    From Strong Roots

House Florent of Brightwater Keep is a noble house from Brightwater Keep in the Reach, one of the main houses sworn to House Tyrell. Their sigil is a red-gold fox's head encircled by lapis lazuli flowers. Members of the House are known for their prominent ears.
According to legend, the Florents, the Balls, and the Peakes descend from the three husbands of Florys the Fox.
The Florents, like the Tyrells, claim descent from the extinct House Gardener, the defunct Kings of the Reach. The Florents have a superior line of descent, and believe that they by rights should possess Highgarden.

Elia Nymeros Martell, Rhaegar Targaryen's wife

    Name: Elia Nymeros-Martell
Age: Born in 256 AC, 26 at gamestart

Biography: Being born as the fourth child of the Martell family, Elia's childhood was not an easy one, given that she was born a month premature and always had a delicate health, thus not allowing her to travel all too much around Westeros during her youth due to her condition. Nontheless she grew eventually into a slender, beautiful woman though she was considered frail by many among the court.
During few journeys, Elia was considered to be wed off to suitors of several Houses, among them House Hightower and House Lannister, but no arrangements were made as the suitors were considered inappropriate for her.
Eventually Elia would marry at some point Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, where she moved after the marriage to Dragonstone with her husband.
Elia blessed House Targaryen with two potential heirs to the Iron Throne, one of them being being recently born. The girl was named Rhaenys, while her younger brother is called by the name of Aegon.

After the tourney at Harrenhal and with the outbreak of the war in the following year, Elia was left by her husband at Dragonstone.

    Traits (7):
    +3 Charisma
    +3 Survival
    +1 Wealth

    House Mallister of Seagard

    Lord Jason Mallister

    Age: 33 (born 249 AL)
    Rank/Titles: Lord of Seagard
    Traits (8): Survival +3, Duel +2, Battle +3
Spouse: Barbara Mallister nee. Bracken (19, born 263 AL)
Children: Patrek Mallister (2, born 280 AL)
    Wards: /
    Squires: /
    Equipment: /
Biography: As Lord Andros' Mallister's firstborn child, Jason Mallister was not only trained to a good duelist, but would also participate within several tournaments during the life time of his father.
Though a formidable fighter, he never achieved actual victories against other nobles. The most notable defeat he recieved, was executed by none other than Prince Rhaegar Targaryen himself, when he faced him during the tourney of Storm's End.

Apart from his tourney carrier, Jason was a calm man and even remained so, when news of his father's death by the Ironborn raiders were brought to him. Being prepared to eventually replace his father one day, Jason sat often with his second-born brother Ser Jeoffrey and his youngest brother Gerald within the private chambers of the Mallisters to study not only maps, but as well history accords, finances and other valuable sources of informations, which would prepare him eventually for his responsibility as a lord some day.
During some meetings at Riverrun, Jason and Jeoffrey made contact as well with Brandon Stark, the eldest son of House Stark, Lord Paramounts of the North. While they briefly exchanged words with eachother, Jeoffrey made closer contact with Brandon and even travelled with him along, about which Lord Jason barely bothered. He respected Stark, while seeing him as a brave man, though he barely knew him.
Events changed for the worse, when news of Ser Jeoffrey's death by the hands of Aerys II reached Seagard and the rebellion broke out. The banners of House Mallister were immidiately raised, when Lord Tully began to muster troops for the Rebellion's cause, as the Mallisters wished to avenge the cold-blooded murder of their family member. While hoping that Lord Hoster Tully, along with his allies wouldn't lead the armies of the Riverlands into certain death, Lord Jason pledged his support towards Robert Baratheon's cause, once it became known in public.

Ser Luceon Mallister, "The Red Eagle"

    Age: 26
Rank/Titles: Knight, Steward and Admiral of Seagard, "The Red Eagle" (earned by intercepting over the years several Ironborn raids along the coasts of Seagard and neighboured Riverlands coasts)
    Traits (7): Survival +2, Duel +2, Naval Battle +3
Spouse: Minisa Mallister nee. Erenford (25, born in 257 AL)
Children: Leyton Mallister (10, born in 272 AL), Desmond Mallister (10, born in 272 AL), Kendra Mallister (8, born in 274 AL)
    Wards: /
    Squires: /
    Equipment: /
Biography: Being the thirdborn son of the Old Eagle, Ser Luceon served alongside his father as a captain, when he actually finished his knight training. Unlike his oldest brother Jason, Luceon prefered the sea over tournaments and actual land fights, while though seeing the use of naval tactics in terms of hunting bandits along the Trident. Luceon made however more expieriences with the Ironborn and their unforgiving raiding parties, not often being supported and lead by their noble Houses. Especially the Riverlands had to suffer the most under their attacks, given that they were in closer range to the former realm of Harren Hoare than the Reach. With the Westerlands having more often the superior fleet to push back the naval invaders and the North barely offering any vast rescources of the raider's interest, these pirates had even more reasons to land along the coasts of the Riverlands or to even sail through one of the various rivers towards the inland, thus giving Luceon very early an understanding for the Ironborn's maritime nature.
When his father Lord Andros died during a naval encounter, as the Ironborn crew attempted to board the Mallister's flagship, it was on Luceon's side to repell the invaders, while overtaking at the same time the high command over Seagard's fleet within the battle. Though the flagship was rescued and the enemy's ships send to the Merling King, the victory over the Ironborn came with an iron cost this day. Among the Mallisters, Luceon has grown a huge grudge towards the murderers of his father and all those, who followed their pirating ways, while seeing within the Ironborn and their lords nothing more than a pest, which will get one day either subjugated and controlled by the Seven Kingdoms or completely erredicated.
After Lord Andros' death and his eldest son Ser Janos suceeding him, Luceon was trusted with the high command over the fleet since this day. Reforming the navy of Seagard partly, Luceon prevented over the next years several series of raids by either scaring the longships off the coast by the sole presence of his own galleys or by actually fighting those, who actually dared to challenge the Admiral of the Mallister fleet.
With the outbreak of Robert's Rebellion, Ser Luceon was furthermore named as the steward of Seagard in absence of the Mallister host.

    Gerald Mallister "The Cripple"

    Age: 17
Rank/Titles: "The Cripple", due to his lost leg
    Traits (4) (handicaped) : Survival +3, Charisma +1
    Spouse: /
    Children: /
    Wards: /
    Squires: /
    Equipment: /
Biography: Being born as the fourth son of Lord Andros Mallister, Gerald never had an easy life due to his right leg being lame since his birth.
Seeing that the boy wouldn't be able to walk, the leg was cut off by advice of the past Maester, as he believed that the life of the child would be better, if the majority of its blood would remain within the healthy veins than pumping through a useless leg. Gerald would even feel nowadays the pain of the missing leg, making his life barely an easy one.
Against all odds he survived the procedure, unlike the Maester though. When words of his decision reached the Citadel, he was expelled after several disputes, which did not only cost him his position, but as well his life, as he was killed by bandits on his way back to his home town. Being left as a cripple, while regretting to have allowed said Maester this medical nonsense, Lord Andros adviced the new Maester at Seagard to tutor the young Gerald, in hopes that he might either become a Septon or a Maester instead, if he wasn't able to master any kind of sword fight. When Andros died against the Ironborn in a naval battle, his firstborn son Ser Jason Mallister succeeded him.
For a long time it seemed that Gerald would be send to the Citadel, as he has become ove time a poet in his own regards, given that the Cripple had to rely more on his mental abilities than on the rest of his body.
Things changed, however, when Ser Jeffory Mallister was murdered by the Mad King.
