Default A TW mod based on Warhammer models, can it be done?

Sorry if i am going a bit off topic here, or if it has been questioned anywhere else and i didn't saw yet, but is there any chance that Total War Warhammer can be modded into Third Age Total War or something like that. I have to say that i never played before TW Warhammer , but the videos i have seen with flying dragons and mages could work perfectly for a Third Age TW experience (or even First Age/Second Age one?).

Are you a 3D Environment and Character artist, or a Character Animator?

If yes, then the Rise of Mordor team linked above is looking for you!
    Massive Overhaul Submod Units!
D you want some units back in MOS 1.7? Install this mod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...n-1-1-RELEASED
It adds back units who were deleted from the campaign in MOS 1.7, namely the Winged Swordsmen, the Citadel Guard Archers and the Gondor Dismounted Bodyguard.

What exactly are you asking for? There is a Warhammer mod for Medieval II Kingdoms called Call of Warhammer, though I never played it and don't know if it's any good.
As for modding Warhammer TW into TATW, it's quite impossible. The magic and flying creatures don't translate well to the MedII engine. CoW has some magic (which is just a modification of the Byzantium Flame Thrower from vanilla if I get things right) and might even have some flying creatures, but that's all you are going to get.
For obvious reasons, there is no big chance of this Warhammer stuff making it's way into TATW. If you want flying creatures and the like, without the Warhammer universe, there might be a mod in the submod forum that has some. Dagor Ennor would be my guess, but other people probably know this better than me.

Thank you for the info Greymane and i will look into it.

I was just reading in another thread somewhere in the forums about Gandalf's magic and how it could fit into the game. After some reading and stating of facts from people there, concerning the use of magic in Tolkien books, i believed they were very selective occasions that actual magic and not some kind of alchemy was done.. and it wouldn't fit well in TATW.
So my primary idea of Gandalf shooting flames and lightnings or any other 'magical' abilities Elrond , Galandriel, or any other character could have(anywhere stated in books that had or could have magical abilities, either from their rings or not) was abandoned.(I know, sounds a bit silly as a first thought and i can't say that i am familiar with the lore or the books but it wouldn't seem proper to use them in such way lorewise after all).

But as for the rest creatures, such as lesser drakes as units i will look into the ones you mentioned and i very much appreciate it!

In terms of simulating magical attacks quite a few are already in mods. Saw in a video of Third Age there's a mage unit that uses the flamethrower attack from the vanilla game. Hyrule Total War has lightning as well as "wave" magic and a multitude of other magical missile effects although new effects hit a limit because of random hard coded stuff again. Call of Warhammer Beginning of the end Times has Pegasus Knights which fly in movement and are insanely fast and land to fight like cavalry. I know that they also have some insane mage units as well from battle videos. There's probably more examples in any mod that has a fantasy setting as well.
