    The second part doesn't show up at all in mod manager. I manually put both parts of DEI into the data folder and when I open up the mod manager, the second part gets deleted!

    3 parts for STEAM's Version 2 parts (as always) for the Forum's version.

    @ForVictory
    The manager probably deletes the second part because you jumped from STEAM's version to the Forum one. Just add @@ in front of it and you'll be good to go.

    PS
    Make sure the 2nd part is loaded after the first one ofc.

    Thanks alot that did the job! But how do I make a order list in the mod manager? I cant seem to move any of them.

    You either use the user.script file in the appdata/roaming/creative assembly/Rome2/scripts folder (user.script textfile, you can make it if it doesn't exist yet) then you can order mods manually after disabling them in the mod manager in the manner of 'mod "modname.pack";' without the single 's.
    Or, you can manually copy mods to your Rome 2 data folder, if they are from Steam, disable them in the mod manager and then rename them with an @ or ! at the start of the filename, so it'll move upwards in the order.

    I see that Roman Uniforms are Imperial Times Uniforms, I made a mini mod to change it to classic italo-hellenic style uniforms.

    just put this mod on top/upper priority of DEI part 1 and 2 and it will re-write the changes made for this mod to work.

    Those are Generals and Champions uniforms that i have edited.

    the thing is... i dont know how to create a new thread when viewing hosted mod sections that's why i posted it in here (reply section).

    wait....nevermind.... i found a way... maybe its just a glitch a while ago... it wont show the "post new thread" when i view it in the first place. now it shows up.

    *Only Part 1 Updated
    *Save game compatible


    Battle Changes
    - Increased spotting range across all classes on unrestricted ground.
    - Increased distance between attacker and defender deployment zones.
    - Ammo is now displayed on UI for shock and melee cav.

    Campaign and CAI Changes
    - Improved some of the issues with the AI sitting in player territory.
    - AI forces and invasions more willing to move across greater distances and different terrain types to attack the enemy or support friendly factions
    - Greater engagement and focus on the funds aspect of diplomacy now in regards to the AI (Funds allocated / demanded)
    - Agents will be used to slightly higher degree and the AI will dedicate a higher number finances to them at certain points
    - More dynamic and rational war declarations, as well as peace agreements.
    - Better balanced naval priority development and usage. Factions specialized with a naval military focus will dedicate more resources and effort to it. Others have received improved financial and priority tweaks to better fit their personality roles.
    - AI bonuses for naval costs and upkeep introduced depending on imperium and coincide with the other effects. This allows military naval based factions to have a more fair and level playing-field with others.
    - Acts of treachery will now have a bigger effect on diplomacy arena
    - Spotting forces on the campaign map is slightly harder and stacks will have a better chance of being hidden
    - Ambushing success chances increased for certain terrain types, as well as the occurrence of them
    - Larger AI factions will support smaller ones more - both diplomatically and militarily
    - Melee Attack and Defense effects have been altered for various skills, traits, traditions and ancillaries. Some of the effects have been made more specific and cultural based, while a few others have been changed. This was done to prevent stacking to a high level with the new lower stat system.
    - Changed many agent personality trait effects to use newer agent effects rather than older obsolete ones.
    - Increased cost/upkeep of Mercenary naval units to match new mercenary cost/upkeep values.

    Other Fixes
    - Fixed pike units having wrong pike models.
    - Fixed a vanilla bug where icons for bodyguard melee attack/defense buffs were reversed
    - Fixed some incorrect effect values.
    - Fixed Pergamon Thureos unit having wrong population class and size.
    - Fixed new Medewi archers missing from custom battle.
    - Fixed Armenian cavalry unit missing javelins.
    - Fixed African general having wrong appearance assigned.
    - Slight decrease to base fertility chance, slight increase to infant mortality rate.
    - Removed AOR Phrygian levy's phalanx formation since they are a basic spear unit.
    - Fixed barbarian storage building having wrong tech requirements.
    - Fixed Champion Militancy skill campaign movement buff.
    - Fixed some civil war factions missing proper uniform and banner color entries.

    Should it still say 1.2.4 when i load it up or should it say 1.2.4a, cause i dl'ed just part 1 again, yes to all files and fired it up and just says 1.2.4. Sorry for silly for silly question, i'm use to using the steam version lol, not the main one from here.

    DEI still lags when i fight 40 vs 40 stacks. like i only get less than 5 fps...

    Is it a bug that needs fixes or its just my PC specs that needs upgrade?
    BTW this is my specs...

    CPU: AMD A8-9600 RADEON R7, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G

    Regarding the new update, what did you mean about armies being less spotable ? Armies can be invisible when not in ambush stance? I didn't even know that

    Pretty sure you should upgrade your CPU first. Maybe to at least a Ryzen 5 or an Intel I5.
    Total War games are CPU hungry mostly... Not sure about other people here but on battles like the Historical Carthage Siege I get ~20 fps on some parts of the map with a FX-8370E + GTX 1060.

    Also, you can play The Witcher 3 at 1080p with this PC?! wtf...

    If you run fine without DeI and lags only with DeI turned on then try to reduce "Unit Detail". DeI brings units details to another level, which requires more CPU/GPU power.

    As long as you got the part 1 from the first post in this thread and overwrote it in your data folder you should be fine.

    You may want to check out our Technical support thread, it has a few different good ways to improve performance.

    A better way of wording it would be that generals and agents have had their ability to spot/spot distance reduced slightly.

    Well, you can't really expect to play 40 vs 40 with your hardware. Even people with much higher specs and 2K pcs can't run 60 solid fps on 40vs40. Αlso be aware that Rome 2 is a CPU heavy game and your CPU is quite ''weak'' for that.
