- Any hostile army larger than 5,000 men operating in Dorne beyond the Red Mountains will suffer 2% attrition per hex tile marched over, except where they are on river tiles or on the coast and where they have a friendly fleet off that coast (the coast being a loose definition: an army marching along the north coastal tiles must have a fleet at sea somewhere along the north coast). In addition, if that army besieges a castle without a fleet blockading it, do a d20% roll for further attrition.
- Any Dornish army of 10,000 men or less, while operating within the Dornish Desert, may opt to Disperse within the province they are currently in, an action that will take 6 RL hours to accomplished and 12 RL hours to reverse. Once dispersed, the army may not move from the province but also will not be subject to a pitched battle should an enemy army enter the same province. An enemy-occupied province with a dispersed Dornish army inside it that outnumbers the occupiers may not collect taxes.
- Each RL day any troops not garrisoned inside castle walls will roll d10% attrition, while the dispersed Dornish army will roll d5% attrition (this applies whether outnumbered or not).
