DOES BATTLE MAP MIRROR CAMPAIGN MAP?

If you remember, the battle map on EB1 was excellent at fairly accurately representing landmarks/terrain from the campaign map, i.e. a coast, a river, distance to a fortress etc. Is this the case with EB2 also please?

Not as much with Medieval 2. You still see rivers and mountains in the background but fleets, cities, bridges, ports and wonders dont appear anymore.

That's such a shame! I loved that about EB1, seeing on the battle map the fleets that were on the campaign map added to the realism so much. ��
