Shadows flickering during battles. How do I stop this?

In battles the shadows of the units flicker rather badly, I have tried all levels from low to high in grahics options and they are still there.

Nvidia drivers are up to date. (GTX670)

I am coming from 2.2a are did not have this jitter problem.

Any ideas as to preventing them ?

In battles i notice that the shadows of units and the the unit models themselves seem to be shimmering or flickering.

I have tested many different settings for shadows/unit texture/AA and ansiotropic but none eradicate the promlem.

Am using nvidia 376.19

Don`t know how to get let alone post screenshots.

They really are there- honest guv. Shadows and the unit skins themselves. I have GTX670, Asus z170 Last played September and all was OK. Could it be Windows update or buggy/corrupt Nvidia drivers?

Press Prt Scrn in the battle where you can see it. Then quit the game and go to [your M2TW directory]\tgas\. Take the most recent images and convert to jpg (I used Zamzar.com to do that since I don't have any image-manipulation software). Attach to the forum post or host somewhere like imgur.

It's not about not believing you, without being able to see the issue, no one will have the first clue how to diagnose it.

Don`t think that posting an SS will help as the effect is not present when I pause the game.

Oddly increasing the AntiAliasing and Ansiotropic to x8 seems to cure it (shadows on mediun). I would have thought that reducing them would help. But if you watch spies (space bar fast move enabled) move - it`s all jerky perhaps this is what is causing the flickering by having a too fast computer compute the movement. (I now have the fastest i5 CPU ).
