Sir James Baskervyle, on the Order and Blessing of Stafford, initiates a Call to Arms of loyal men in Cheshire and neighboring Welsh holdings. He awaits the arrival of a writ from the Duke Stafford in order to legitimize his position.

A writ arrives, as promised, by man Baskervyle is familiar with: Humphrey Persivall, one of the Duke's trusted men. He comes with a knight to protect the parchment he carries. It's delivered into Sir James Baskervyle's hands, and is legally torn in half - one half is kept by the Duke, the other by Baskervyle.

Baskervyle's half of the document lists a number of villages and manors throughout the western country, listing off families that owed service to the Duke and his affinity. Altogether, Buckingham was giving Sir Baskervyle license to call to arms some 200 men-at-arms in total, with 10 families listed with knightly status.

Buckingham's tally roll for 1473 in Cheshire
10 Knights (use it as a bodyguard or junta)
    200 Men-at-Arms

The Knight welcomes the arrival of the Duke's men and immediately set events into motion, soon his recruitment swelled beyond its original number with the Duke's men pouring into Chester. Baskervyle prepares for the ferrying of men to Ireland.
