Default NY Times, WaPo, ABC, simultaneously delete Nov 20 article on Norway child trafficking network

This happened just last night/this morning, December 10, around 2am EST.

    NY Times
    http://archive.is/http://www.nytimes...e-network.html

    ABC News
    http://web.archive.org/web/201611202...probe-43670565

Washington Post (I don't have an archived copy of their article, but here's the result on google search that is now gone)
    http://archive.is/js9UC

Fox News still has the article up, just posting in case it gets removed
    http://web.archive.org/web/201612032...ork-probe.html

Is this a cover-up happening in plain sight?

If only one news site took it down, I could think oh, maybe a software bug or accidental deletion or something. But multiple huge news sites took it down simultaneously. To me, that either means:
    1) They're coordinating with each other and decided to hide this without explanation, for their own reasons
    2) They're being told to take it down, and either are weak-willed journalists or are threatened

Can anyone think of another reason?

Presumably there is a trial underway and the authorities requested that the articles be taken down. Maybe they contained false information on something, who knows.

Or somebody rich and powerful didn't want the article to be published for one reason or the other, but assuming that would just be a conspiracy theory.

OMG! A new conspiracy theory! Another one! .. Pizzagate was not enough! .. At least this time Wikileaks & Russians are not involved, I suppose.

I'd say the idea of rich people having above average influence on society is not a conspiracy theory but rather something very obvious.
As it stands someday 1+1=2 will be a conspiracy theory someday.

Add killed to the list. It's cliché of criminals to dispose of evidence.

Seems Israel PM is making a threat:

Maybe the issue is not even close to expiring.

It will be seen that, as used, the word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else.

If there was false information, why would they not mention that? Is it common for news sites to delete articles when requested? Especially US news sites, when asked to by foreign authorities? That doesn't seem right to me.

It's possible that the network is suspected of being multinational, in that their are arrests/investigations ongoing in the US as well, it is also possible the story was false (for instance a few years back a story from StormFront got picked up as 'real' then deleted)

    EDIT:The story is back: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7432441.html

I heard that AP only gives a limited amount of time for some of the news pieces it lets other outlets publish. About 3 weeks usually. So, these articles disappeared when the timer ran out. See if you can find other AP news releases that are older than a few weeks. The AP link is still active. Given that the article is identical to what we see on either of these news outlets it's evident that this is not a cover up issue but a copyrights issue.

You can see the reasons here. Practically the story expired.

Outlets that do not have the same system still feature the story like Fox News, NBC and The Independent. Not much of a cover up.

Of course all that will not deter the nutjobs:

Turns out that assuming this WAS just a conspiracy theory

As the current year has proven, "conspiracy theories" tend to be more factual then reports form legacy media.

Not to mention that presence of pedophiles among Western political elite is of no surprise to anyone. Career politicians are easily controlled and their owners usually have some dirt(pedophilia in this case) on them to make sure they will represent their interests and won't go rogue.

Well not surprising. Following media narrative, especially from Hillary's side, non ironically, It's more likely for me to be a very tough russian hacker ex-KGB.. instead of being another ordinary portuguese trying to figure out the full story of globalization, and who are the real silent winners and losers of said thing.
