    Default MP community?

Is there an active multiplayer community for this mod at the moment? I can't seem to find anyone playing it.

Yes and No .There are lots of ppl that play it,but this is mod after all,ofc that there wont be huge amount that will play(compared to TW full game).+The mod is still being developed and when it is finished, the number of players will be much bigger. Also tournament might boost mp activity a lot,but i think the mod is way too unbalanced for tournament(at least for now)

Attila itself doesn't have enough players for a community to thrive, and I'm not sure if Custom Battles is the best multiplayer game type to play with a total stranger.

it doesn't matter that atilla is dead, the progression of the mod is followed by thousands, but either almost all want to play only campaign or as i already said balance isn't good enough.

I don't really get what you're trying. I just think the campaign has more immersion and excitement, even if it's not the best one on the block; I agree the mod needs to be completed for people to enjoy it at full extent.

I know this isn't the place to talk about this, but the modding community doesn't tell me where I need to help out. I can willingly crunch out crude code or design units, but where should I start? I'm really sorry if this stuff is already on the MP community, but if anyone knows what I need to do please point it out.

I'm just confused as to why there isn't a revival on mp considering the hype surrounding this mod and its development.

I'm part of a group of people on Steam who regularly play MP. If anyone would like to join us, feel free to shoot me a PM with your Steam id or something. ^^ I guess we could be more up front about it, but it is how it is I guess.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.
