Default QUESTION - How to turn an existing faction into a Horde that can eventually settle?

    Hi there,

I am a huge lore-snob and was wondering whether there was a way to turn Clan Angrund into a horde? They really should not be in charge of Karak Izor and their primary goal should be to recapture Karak Eight Peaks, yet in every campaign I played they just camp around the Vaults and if they expand, they do so up north. I have never seen them venture into the Badlands.

So I gave their campaign a try and recaptured Karak Eight Peaks, but not even my capital moved. It remained in Karak Izor.

Anyway, if anyone has any tips where should I start, please let me know

Thought about something technically-similar some weeks ago: to make a horde faction which unified different races into one special faction. But I think that making a faction to a horde is relatively complicated and so I stopped the work. I can't help very much, but maybe its better than nothing:
    - Two tables that i think are important are "faction" with the "ishorde" column and "start_pos_hordes" (or similar). Don't know what happens if you add Belegar in the last one as a horde, probably it will crash, but maybe not.
    - I personally had the idea to use a faction unlocker for the "Skull Takerz" Savage Orc faction (like this one: Link) as a background to redesign them into a completletely different faction. Skull Takerz are already a horde faction and so maybe its easier to use them as fundament. This solves the problem of creating a new horde but nontheless it may be a lot of work.

I am pretty sure that you can make a faction a horde by messing with their start position (and them similarly you're going to have to give them a horde building structure but not sure about that). changing between a horde and normal i think is impossible

Alright then, I will give that a shot. Do I do that in PFM?

Yeah normally you do it in PFM, if you edit the start_pos file in DAVE (Assembly Kit)
I tried the last days to make Empire a horde faction, but it doesn't worked. I have no idea what to try next, so if there is someone who has any idea I would be glad about help too!
I gave the city Altdorf to another empire faction (that is not the problem), added a new horde building system in the different building and slot_template tables, added this to start_pos_hordes and also gave empire the "Settle" stance in campaign_stances_faction_junction. But this is not enough, there must be another important table.
