    Default Display turns off

    Greetings
I have an issue with playing M2TW on a GTX 1070 graphics card. Basically, as soon as I launch the game using that card, the display in my screen turns off. So far the steps I took to fix the issue is re-installing the game with UAC turned off and Compatibility Mode in both XP and Vista, with no luck of getting the game to work whatsoever.

However, when I launch the game using my Intel HD 530 Video integrated Card, the game launches with no issue. I even get descent FPS on Kingdoms expansions and Vanilla, whether the scale of units in battlefield out measures the recommended scale or not.

I recently started playing SS 6.4 though, so the long intervals between turn takes become somewhat frustrating. I imagine that when I switch from the integrated Video to the Dedicated Graphics card, turns would speed up. Even if they theoretically don't, well...I would like to try anyway. Haven't tested my Dedicated Graphics card on this game yet.

Anyone has a clue as to what to do to make the game work? Using my GTX 1070?
    My specs:

    Intel HD Graphics 530

Have you tried fiddling with the configuration or display settings for your GTX in it's own control panel?
It worked for me with some other games when I had problems.

No, I haven't. Which settings should I change?

The long time between turns is not graphics dependent, that's the processing of the game script which solely depends on core speed of your processor (M2TW only uses one processor).

To access the Nvidia Control Panel either do so via the default control panel or by right clicking on an empty spot on your desktop and choosing the Nvidia control panel option.

In '3D Settings' go into 'Adjust image settings...' and make sure the option on the right is set to 'Let the 3D application decide'
Now in '3D Settings' select the 'Manage 3D settings' options and on the right click on the 'Program settings' tab. Click on 'Add' and browse to the executable of the game - medieval2 for steam and kingdoms for disk version - add the selected executable.
You are now presented with the list of options your card supports, options not supported for the game are greyed out. Try changing the 'Power management mode' first and test.
