Default Next Heir Ancillary Mod Bug? (SS 6.4)

    Hello
My Faction Leader is about to Die, well In about 20 or so Turns. So, I Wanted to make my Faction Leader's Son (Of Course) the Heir. Thing is, When I was Finding a Suitable Princess for my Faction Leader to Marry, a Regent was then Assigned. So When the son came to age, I Immediately had the 2 of them on the same army and have Transferred the Heir Crown to the Son as per the Tutorial. However, The son Never received the Title of Prince and It Remained on the Regent. The Trait for the Heir Apparent is still on the Regent whilst the son has the Ancillary, Though he had no Traits for the Heir Apparent.

I Finally Found the Perfect Princess with Full Hearts and Loads of Extremely Good Traits from England. and I do think that they are about to marry her off to a Scottish prince or what not since shes in their capital with the Damned Scottish Heir there.
I Tried to Marry the Princess to the Faction heir, It still is on the Regent.

Oh and Does Re Installing Medieval 2 on a 64 Bit Folder(Since mine is installed on 32Bit Folder) and Pasting the Save over on the new one, Will the Save not be Broken? I Am in about 190 Turns and I don't want to Restart lol. and How does one Post a Picture? (Screen Shots) Thanks

    Please Halp

This is not a bug, it is how the game mechanics works in case of family trees. First of all, what does the NH Ancillary do ? It simply gives the character owning it a huge (hidden) authority bonus. This is one important factor for the game logic to decide who is becoming the next faction heir (beside bloodline). If the son of your current faction leader has not come to age at the point where the game has to choose a faction heir, then it will search for a suitable family member. Once this character became faction heir (or regent, whatever) he will stay with this title until he is dead or becoming faction leader himself.

The NH Ancillary will NOT make the son of your faction leader automatically the new heir when he comes to age. In your case you want to send your current faction heir (regent) on a suicide mission, so that a new heir will be chosen which is most likely the oldest son of your king.

So There really is no way to pass It.. Oh Well, Seems like I'll have to arrange a Heroic Death for the "Warrior Prince" Against the Pagans to the East.
a Shame that there is no way to just pass It Keeping both alive. So it's just the same as Vanilla, but knowing who's going to be the Next one.

And as I Commented, Does Re Installing Medieval 2 on a 64 Bit Folder(Since mine is installed on 32Bit Folder) and Pasting the Save over on the new one, Will the Save not be Broken? I Am in about 190 Turns and I don't want to Restart lol. and How does one Post a Picture? (Screen Shots) Thanks
