Nope Ayyubids should be hostile to all muslim factions and only trading with the Abyssinians
@Oldstyle what states would be heavily centralized back then? every Amir is a representative of his Sultan and rules in his stead and the important places will be handed to the Sultan's men so why would be they disloyal?
@Visarion why should they??

Great post Heisenberg!
I have a question however: is it preferable if the Spanish names (and I figure this counts for other languages as well, but I do not speak them (very little)) are used (and not the English ones)?
E.g. Peter - Pedro (and for Aragon - Pere)?
Please let me know if that is wanted.
Sorry for my bad English, I am not a native speaker
Just wanted to ask the devs which factions are left for research? Have some freetime now and could finish some (if not all) of them.
For Castile I suggest a few nobles to add:
-Diego López II de Haro (1252-1214): Lord of Biscay, the most powerful noble of Castile, personal friend of King Alfonso and leader of the vanguard in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa (07/16/1212). (Married to Toda Pérez de Azagra)
-Lope Díaz II de Haro (between 1270 and 1290?-1236): Lord of Biscay, son of Diego López II de Haro, he fought aswell in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, alférez of Fernando III of Castile and Leon and one of the most powerful nobles of Castile and Leon during the reign of Fernando III of Castile and Leon (Married to Urraca Alfonso de Léon, bastard daughter of Alfonso IX of Leon and half-sister of Fernando III of Castile and Leon)
-Álvaro Núñez de Lara (c.1170-1218):One of the most powerful nobles of Castile during the reign of Alfonso VIII, alférez during the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, regent during the minority of King Enrique I of Castile and mayordomo to King Alfonso IX of Leon. (Married to Urraca Díaz de Haro, daughter of Diego López II de Haro)
-Gonzalo Núñez de Lara (c. 1165-1228): Brother of Álvaro Núñez de Lara, he fought in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa leading the militaries ordes of Temple, Hospitallers, Santiago and Calatrava. (Married to Maria Díaz de Haro, daughter of Diego López II de Haro)

I would make all italian city-states like or ignore the papal states. Whilst some cities fought for the hremperor, at this time they were mostly independent. They owed this indipendence to the "formal" vassalage to the pope. Maybe only pisa should have a slight negative relation

[QUOTE = Eidgeniesser; 15262653] Ho visto che la Sicilia deve ancora essere fatta, quindi l'ho raccolta su Staufer Sicilia:
Sicilia
Diplomazia:
buone relazioni: Pisa (Venezia / Genova), Dauphine, Waldstätte, Lorraine, Francia, Aragon, Castiglia, Baviera ,
Cattive relazioni del Regno di Gerusalemme : HRE, Stato Pontificio, Provenza, Lombardia, Bologna, Ungheria, (Genova / Venezia),
in guerra: HRE, Sassonia, (Lombardia, Bologna)
alleanza: Baviera, Pisa, (Stato Pontificio?)
Vassalli : Nessuna Tranne se Imperial Crown Struggle, poi Dauphine, Savoia, Baviera, Lorena (come Staufer equivalente ai vassalli HRE Guelph)
commerciano: Pisa, Francia, Aragona, Gerusalemme, Cipro, Antiochia
altre informazioni: Forte fazione nobile
nobili:
re: re Friedrich I. von Staufen di Sicilia (1194-1250)
regina: Costanza d'Aragona (1179-1222)
erede: Heinrich VII (1211-1242)
parte della famiglia reale:
-
altri nobili:
(Papa come ex educatore e reggente e futuro nemico)

I hope to be still in time to complete the Kingdom of Sicily. part of the royal family: Henry VII (1211-1242) First and only son of Federico II and Costanza Aragona. Corrado IV true successor (1228-1254). son of Emperor Frederick II and his second wife Jolanda of Brienne, queen of Jerusalem, the only male child born of this marriage. After the deposition of his brother, Henry VII. Margherita (123-1270) and Enrico Carlo Ottone (1238-1253 / 1254) were born in Isabella of England. from the union with Bianca Lancia, later married organically, Costanza di Svevia was born in 1229/1230, followed in 1231 by Manfredi king of Sicily and his third daughter, Violante, in 1245/1246. Furthermore, Frederick II had various relationships outside of marriage, from which his numerous illegitimate children were born. If you are interested, I can list them all and provide reliable sources. I hope you read. Congratulations great mod

Can I make suggestions?
1- Toulouse is definitely NOT an ally or vassal of France in 1212. If anything, in 1212 Toulouse is about to swear fealy to Aragon IN ORDER TO protect itself against what Count Raymond pecieves as French aggression in the form of Papal and French envoys meddling with his affairs and the threat of armed invasion against the Cathatr elements in the Midi. Philippe II Auguste hasn't managed to bring all of France under his rule by 1212. He will have by the time he's dead (except for Guyenne, Provence and Brittany, of course).
For all intents and purposes, Toulouse is independent, and much closer to Aragon (with whom Toulouse had had problems in the past, see the wars for Provence and the eventual "compromise", or partition, of one of the richest regions of Southern France) than to France.
2- Provence and Aragon were close, by virtue of King Peter and Count Raymond-Berengar being cousins (or, rather, King Peter's father was Raymond Berengar's grandfather). Provence, though, was in a very constant state of animosity, if not outright war, with Toulouse, because the Count of Toulouse was also Marquis of Provence and lord of Marseilles. By 1240, Raymond Berengar would have managed to take advantage of the collapse of the House of Toulouse and the death of his meddling cousin the King of Aragon to abolish most free cities within his domain, take over Marseilles and conquer part of the March of Provence.
is there a bug thread? I cannot find one... I've noticed that my faction leader and hair have just vanished from my family tree, even though they are on the campaign map. This has happened twice. So i cannot do internal politics even though I get a posts about noble births etc...
