Crashing and at the same time working

Hey guys...
So, my main game crashes on the loading screen. But Kingdoms and Stainless Steel work fine. It's just the vanilla game that always crashes.
Anyone knows what to do with this ? Please ?

I suspect that one of your vanilla (main game) files has gotten deleted/corrupted/edited/replaced, possibly by an installed mod. I suspect a reinstall would resolve the problem, but before we get to that point, have you got an error log?

That's the weirdest thing... I already reinstalled it, and it still doesn't work.
You said something about mods, can you please specify ?

Well, most mods make use of mod folders, but occasionally a mod may alter files outside of its mod folder (i.e., main game files), and this could have corrupted your main game whilst leaving mods (including Kingdoms campaigns) unaffected.

I'm surprised a reinstall didn't work for you. The next step would be to try and locate the problem by creating an error log. The error logging process is thoroughly detailed in this tutorial. If you could create a trace log and upload it here, it might give us some clues.

In the meantime, can you describe the crash a little more? The game makes it to the loading splash screen and crashes immediately, or after some time?

What operating system are you using? Have you recently changed?

Install this - it's the main game with kingdoms features. As Frunk says: nothing much can be said without a log.
