I just installed the mod, followed the steps.
I can't get the campaign to start though after picking a faction. When I do it it just goes to the main menu...

What version are you playing? What does your error log say?

2.2b at first then I tried 2.2c cause I thought updating might help.
I didn't see any logs created but I changed the config file to have mods/ebii/logs/eb.system.log.txt under the log.
It doesn't CTD either unless I try to do something else. Like... I tried to do a custom battle to test if that would work but it did the same thing past letting me pick the teams. Then the next button would do the same thing the campaign did.

Then when I tried campaign again it CTD'd.

    The base game works fine.

Without an error log, I have no idea what's going on.

I fixed it. The problem was that map.rwm file. I reinstalled the mod and deleted that file after getting a graphics error in the base game(That didn't happen before). EB II wouldn't start at all with the file still there. So... No idea what could've caused it really. I think the rwm was a separate issue and reinstalling resolved the other one.

Have you got the full 2.2c patch? I wouldn't bother with the old AI-only version, it was missing some reforms in the script. The new patch has all those AI revisions and a host of fixes and new stuff too.
