Tribune of the Plebeians (2-3)
1. May no longer speak or be present in the Senate for any reason whatsoever ever again. They are ineligible from running for any other offices.
2. Require the vote of at least one plebeian Senator (or NPC through RP to earn votes) to gain office.
3. Tribunes exercise no power outside the city of Rome
4. Tribunes must be physically present at the scene in order to exercise any power.
Powers
1. May convene the Concilium Plebis
2. May veto any magistrate (Ius intercessionis)
3. Sacrosanct in their person
4. Power to protect individuals from arbitrary actions, a precursor to modern habeas corpus concepts (provocatio ad populum)
Seats Subject to Challenge (Anyone may run for them, but will otherwise stay occupied for the next year by the incumbents)
Gaul and Macedon
Seats Subject to Removal if not Renewed (Proconsular power will expire unless specifically renewed)
Pro-Consul of Asia
1. Proconsuls and Censors must be ex-consuls. No exceptions.
2. Pro-Praetors must be ex-praetors. No exceptions.
3. If you character runs for a position that breaks the two rules outlined above, his name won't be in election thread.
4. You are responsible for educating yourselves about the circumstances, limitations, restrictions, and duties and responsibilities of the office your characters are running for. The rules have definitions and wikipedia is a great source.
5. Characters belonging to a player who have made no attempt to contribute at all (not even one post in some sort of public, political thread such as the Curia, Rostra, public sacrifices, voting threads etc) will be ineligible for any office for the next year. If you're not active enough to make even a couple posts, you're certainly not active enough to take an important office for the next year unless you have a good reason for not participating at all in the prior year's activities.
