Iulus has large tables set out the front of one of his larger warehouses in the city. The Warehouse holds mountains of bread, of course. A large band of men employed by the Julii Iulus were manning the table, equipped with the books of census.

The system was simple, a bread portion for anyone who came forwards. Ther name was then marked down having been cross referenced to the books. It was a colossal task, taking up the work of manyt Iulus employees and slaves. There were men to handle the tables and mark down names, men to check the lists of names against the books and even more men bringing the bread forwards at a prodigious rate. It would be a ruthless month of labour.
