WIP The Greek Senate Members The members of the Greek Senate will be prominent Greeks who have held Magistrates in the major Greek and Macedonian cities, as well as a select number of men from each region that have been elected by Greeks with the Greek rights. Greek Senate elections will take place in the Agora of the major cities every 5 years. Any city that is not a major city will be subrodinate to a major city, and they will be entitled to take part in that city's elections. The Capitals of Greece and Macedonia will have the right to send 30 Senators each, and all other Major Cities may send 20 Senators. Greek Rights The Greek Rights are simply the right to stand for the Greek Senate, as a Greek Magistrate, the right to vote for Greek Magistrates and members of the Greek Senate, as well as the right to practice law in the Greek courts. Purpose The Greek Senate will exist in a similar function to the Roman Senate - it will offer the opinions of the Greek people to the Pro-Consul on laws he wishes to enact. In addition, the Greek Senate will also be given some powers regarding the management of various issue.
