    Default {AoC} Medieval Total War

    http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=786850391

This mod transforms the AoC campaign into a medieval campaign, date approximately 1100 AD. It adds the MKTW 1212 units to the campaign map and removes all other units from the campaign. All credit for the units goes to Warman, LTD, and all of the other guys on the MKTW 1212 team, their mod is super awesome!

    The playable factions:
    Kingdom of England
    Kingdom of France
    Holy Roman Empire
    Byzantine Empire
    Emirate of Corduba
    Danes
    Flanders
    Republic of Pisa
    Kingdom of Castille and Leon
    Kingdom of Hungary

England has 3 vassals, Kingdom of Normandy, the English Barons, and the Duchy of Aquitaine
France has Toulouse as a vassal
The Holy Roman empire also has numerous vassals.

As far as historical accuracy, I know there will be plenty of discussion, so just leave your suggestions in the comments and I will work on it.

Why don't you just help out on the Medieval Kingdoms team? We're just starting to work on the campaign.

Just starting? I thought the campaign was close to being completed and its release was delayed because there was some work undone that needed finishing...what you are saying is that no work has been done on the campaign yet. Can you please clarify what is going on? I am not asking when it is going to be released, but I got the impression from other threads and posts that work on the campaign has been under way for a while now. Thanks

What this guy said. Considering I've been itching to play the campaign mode, I'll be severely depressed if they JUST started working on the campaign....

What are the plans for the campaign? Any interesting features or scripting planned?

If you want to create 1212ad starting date for the Charlemagne Campaign,Subotai, here are the starting positions of the factions.Something Attila Vanilla Campaign You can clearly see the Overlord and their vassals. All of the faction emblems can be used, only the Irish and English Earldoms factions have to be created. I put a lot of research about the 1212ad starting date focused on the western Europe - who had what region. You just have to do the research on the family trees and the starting armies and its done.

    8 starting Playable factions:
    1.Kingdom of England
    2.Kingdom of France
    3.Holy Roman Empire
    4.Kingdom of Denmark
    5.Kingdom of Hungary
    6.Kingdom of Sicily
    7.Kingdom of Castile
    8.Almohad Caliphate

    Possible playable factions as submods
    1.Greater Poland
    2.Kingdom of Scotland
    3.Irish Faction
    4.Flanders
    5.Burgundy
    6.Kingdom of Aragon
    7.Kingdom of Portugal
    8.Lombard League

    and so on.

Uh yeah? It's not like you donated money to us through Kickstarter or preordered some limited edition. Make your own damn game if you're that impatient. I appreciate your support to buy the game in order to play our mod, but I don't owe you anything.

    Campaign close to completion?

Don't mistake between MKTW and AE. And even AE are still working on battle balance and naval aspects on the battle side; campaign would need months of adjustments.

I think he ment only the startpos(witch is more or less easier than unit creation) - the rest is done - minus the naval units and rosters for some factions that will come later.

Yeah guys, the modders have all ready done a lot. And I may be interested in helping with the startpos, I've developed a quick and easy method for editing it.

We have plans and ideas, but we lack scripting wizards.

I'm a scripter, formerly for Ancient Empires (where I initially created a population mod, as well as code to allow scripting in campaign battles, forcing a campaign to start with a battle, advice boxes upon clicking on cities/characters, and a whole bunch of other stuff) and Rome 2 Total Realism (where I created scripts to disable forced march/double time, show historical event messages, and provide debug logging functionality). I'm also listed as a team member for People of Rome 2 for research collaboration with them and providing some code, and some of my scripts are being using within DeI for historical event messages.

I've also done non-scripting work, such as the reverse-engineering to import and assign new battle maps to the campaign, to fix Terry to stop it instantly crashing, and research into the UI files the game uses.

Would I fit anywhere into the MK team?
