Preset Formations?

I was playing the custom battle mod today, and noted that the formations button is inoperative - it doesn't even have the generic formations from Attila listed in it. Is that going to remain the case, or do the modders have plans to add their own preset formations to the list? It was never completely useful, but it was nice to have a way to quickly organize your units into something vaguely resembling a usable formation if you were fighting a relatively easy battle and didn't want to spend all your time preparing your forces.

We planned our own but if it doesn't work we will put the old ones back in

I've already added in custom formations myself and plan to do more later on, it's a little fiddly but easy enough.
