I am enjoying my Baktria campaign (V/VH) as a loyal Satrapy to build my economy, but eventually Taksashila invades from the S-SE passes and consequently besieges Baktria and Oskobara. This is when the chaos ensues.
The design of the streets and walls of these cities is so obscure, thin, and squiggly roads that during Deployment phase, many units won't fit on many roads, thus requiring re-deployment when Battle starts. The squiggly road between the city-center and the gate that the AI positions itself in front of is seriously bugged too. Have to manually escort units through their, and your lucky if they're in tight-formation and come through with 1-2 clicks. Oskobara is similar, but not as bad as Baktria.
Also, in both cities but specifically Baktria, intense and immense lag chokes the Battle because the besieging AI has a tendency to pile up onto the siege tower and get frozen between overcrowding and then the wall. Its like its processing all these units orders repeating all at once and going at 2-FPS a second. They end up leaving rams, don't pile through the gate like typical AI do, its just a mess.
I don't know what to do, whether its starting a new campaign as another Hellenistic power, or find some sort of fix, or just going Spartiati/Alexander and commence field battles nearby the city but not upon it. I don't see how I am going to succeed in field battles when they employ at least 4 units of nothing but Varu.
I can provide screenshots if you like, but I don't know where to find them.
