Re: Execution at the Tower
Queen Percy was one of those who attended the impeding execution, she long doubted to see this display but she had to see her predecessor Queen a last time. Queen Percy had always secretly pitied her predecessor, thinking humans could not never be that bad she thought. Queen Percy was trilling from fear for the upcoming scene, she was afterall just a seventeen year old girl, but she had to be here, to be here with her with her predecessor. The Queen put her hands before her eye's blocking her field of view, she just can't see the act itself, it would be all to much.
So this the former Queen that is so shamelessly put on display amid the crowd, i can not believe my lovely husband has signed the death penalty of this woman, i..i.. pity her despite all what happened, this can not happen, this is wrong... she mumbled like a little girl
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Former Queen, Marguerite de Valois entered the scaffold with dignity, the crowd would not see her fears. The former queen held her head right while she was forced to kneel, while knelling she inspected the crowd, noticing a young and beautiful girl, she was unaware this was the new queen, margaret just stared into her eye's until she stood up despite the will of her murderer. Margaret would die her way, Margaret addressed the crowd laughingly only to look more seriously to the young but beautiful girl. Margaret raised her skirts, shocking the entire audience, and pointing out her private parts while shouting to the crowd.
DO IT, LOOK AT THIS, LOOK HERE, YOU SEE THIS? THROUGH THESE PARTS MY SON WAS BORN AND HE WILL AVENGE ME AND HUNT YOU FOOLS DOWN.
The Former queen now was quiet just staring to the young girl, she was too in disgust, but here eye's were red of tears.

Re: Execution at the Tower
Sir Michael Moody, Hastings aide,is on the stage with her. He stands there in disgust of the Queen. Trying to make a show out of this, he thinks. No wonder the invasion force failed. He looks at the former Queen with a dirty look and she returns it.

Re: Execution at the Tower
"A farce." Holland shook his head, disgusted with this D'Anjou who had proved to be utterly insane after her captivity. "Get on with it, put the woman out of her misery." He stood with Suffolk; the two having recently arrived in London after having left de la Pole's estates. It seemed they had arrived in time for the execution, which was proving to be a mixed blessing.

"Kill that... she-wolf already. No-one will miss her; she is the Ruin of Lancaster!"
He looked at the fallen Queen with disgust. Her behavior was so unfitting, bereft of any regal dignity. Shameful, her ancestors would be cursing her name on their graves.

Re: Execution at the Tower
Cambridge was present among the crowd of lords and ladies watching the former Queen be led to her execution site. He felt a thrill in his bones and could scarcely contain his own excitement, at long bloody last his father's killer was to lose her own head and her blood would wet the earth to feed the White Rose's roots; now all that was missing was the Red 'Prince', who had been the one to demand Thomas Kyriell and William Bonville's heads when prompted by his accursed mother. The bloodthirsty young earl thought that Margaret was all out of tricks after that time she tried to murder the King under a flag of truce, but even he was temporarily left speechless when she flashed the gathered nobles - behavior he would have expected out of a tavern harlot, not a Queen - and displayed the brass to issue another threat even now, at death's doorstep with no power to avert her oncoming fate. When Edmund recovered, he couldn't help but burst out laughing at Margaret's antics and (as far as knew...) empty threats, and jeered.
"Let him come if he ever grows the spine to try, I promise I shall welcome him as I welcomed you! Think I've forgotten his part in your slaying of my father, Frenchwoman? I'll be happy to send him to join you if he dares show his face on English soil once more!"

Re: Execution at the Tower
Norfolk looked in disgust at Margaret's display of finally losing the last bits of her sanity. He agreed with Holland's words which he had overheard, it was time to end it all. The Lord Chancellor waved a hand, which the headsman replied with a nod. Margaret was forced onto her knees once more, a blindfold put over her eyes.
With one swift strike from the headsman's sword and it was all over. Margaret of Anjou, Queen of England, was dead. Her head rolled away as her body slumped together. It had taken only a moment, but the impact of it was deafening.

Re: Execution at the Tower
Queen Percy could not believe what she just saw, this is not what a queen should do she knew. She quickly used her hands to block hey eye's, such a display was nothing for young girls to see, yet she could understand her somewhat. Despite who her opponent and what she has done she would not let it happen like this, no this can not be. The Young Queen rushed to Edward and fell in his arms, looking in his eye's and speaking with a sweet voice.
Don't do this my husband, stop this execution, i can not see this, i..i..need to talk with her, please my husband don't do this, please let me speak with her despite what happened
Queen Percy desperately yelled
STOP THIS
Edit : ooc : well, too late to do anything bout it lol

Re: Execution at the Tower
Salisbury witnessed the execution, happy in the thought that the Queen of Henry VI was dead. The true power behind the throne of the Lancastrian cause was ended and her life wasted.
Near the King, Henry Percy notices his daughter speak up, making him glance in her direction. Why did she want to stop the execution? Yet just as her words were spoken, the head of Margaret rolled. Percy showed no remorse for her death, just as he showed no remorse for killing the late Duke of Somerset. With these villains killed, the House of York was truly secure upon its seat. For it was these two individuals that caused the greatest harm and ensured the Lancastrian cause was united.

Re: Execution at the Tower
Queen Percy could not believe what she saw, she was too late, the queen vomited when she saw the beheading, ''disgusting'' she thought, her stomach being sick of the scene she could only vomit in the aftermath. When that was done vomiting made place for tears, 'oh no, we have murdered a queen' she thought. Queen Percy walked upon the scaffold and laid her overcoat over the deceased body, that is the only thing she could give now. The Queen took Margaret's head and laid it upon Margaret's deceased body, this woman must be returned to her father she though, it must find rest alongside her deceased mother. Queen Percy looked up while sitting next to Margaret's body.
C..c..can anybody help me please, she must be returned to her parents.
Saying that she felt the eye's of the crowd upon her, ''why is she helping that deceased creature'' they were thinking

Re: Execution at the Tower
Edward went over to his wife and knelt beside her, trying to console her. He kissed her on the head and whispered to her " I'm sorry you had to witness this my love, please, let's get you out of here. You do not need to see this, okay?"
Edward helps his wife up. Earl Hastings comes over to assist, but Edward motions to him with a "not now" look. He walks her over to Lord Percy and he nods at him. He motions to Hastings and Norfolk and whispers;
"Gentlemen.... Thank you for helping in this war, but let's get this mess clean up from the witch queen. Send her head back to the family, get her of her body wherever"

Re: Execution at the Tower
Queen Percy stood back up with the assistance of Hastings and her husband, all this wouldn't do her any good, she came too late to save her predecessor queen, no matter what she had done she would have wanted to help her. Queen Percy looked to her husband.
Oh, My husband, please, promise me one thing, send her body and head back to her family so she can find rest for we have murdered her, can you promise me that?
The Queen left saddened the scaffold while heading back to her palace, maybe she shouldn't have been here, she was too young for this.

Norfolk nodded. He would make the necessary arrangements that the king wanted. The whole thing had lasted for too long. Most of the crowd are called that the execution was over and that they could go home. Servants come and make ready for Margaret's body to be buried and her head preserved for the long journey to France.
