Battle of Denibgh
William Herbert grinned in satisfaction. His forces, proud and loyal welshmen, had gathered. It is time to take another step in the path he chose. Slowly but surely. He signals his troops: "onward" he is not going to let them prepare. This will be death from above, quelling a rebelion in the king's name. As they advanced, the soldies began to sing:
Forth to the battle!
Onward the fight,
Swift as the eagle in his flight!
Let not the sunlight o'er our pathway close,
Till we o'erthrow our Saxon foes.
Strong as yonder foaming tide,
Rushing down the mountainside;
Be ye ready, sword and spear,
Pour upon the spoiler near.
Winds! that float o'er us,
Bid the tyrant quail,
Ne'er shall his ruffian bands prevail!
Morning shall view us fetterless and free,
Slaves ne'er shall Cymry's children be.
Heaven our arms with conquest bless,
All our bitter wrongs redress;
Strike the harp! Awake the cry!
Valour's sons fear not to die.

Re: Battle of Denibgh
This is a Welsh territory controlled by the English, Noytary. There is no rebellion going on here.
And you can't make one up either.

Re: Battle of Denibgh
You are actually just attacking lands that are considered English with the Lancastrians pretty much destroyed now. Nothing is really Lancastrian now.

Re: Battle of Denibgh
You are attacking English lands as an English noble. You are asking for the King use royal authority to your own detriment. I would ask that you reconsider these actions else Herbert may lose a lot for this.

I planned on doing it in the middle of the war.... I don't get it. If they don't bow to the king they should be subdued to do so.

You're basically attacking the lands of the king in peacetime. They submitted, there's no rebellion.
