No, it's not. If it were racism "towards Russians" (which isn't a race...) then they'd allow languages such as French and German here but not Russian. That isn't the case.

It's not about how much Artstudio has done and how he "gets such treatment". That's irrelevant. It's just that the rules state these forums are English.

Ignoring the validity or lack thereof of a uni-language rule, let's not get carried away with these frankly awful accusations of racism.

I noticed there are several units on the walls. I wonder how that works. I suddenly got very curious.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Its really not walls, just a place for the units to stand on. But not "in game" walls.

Guys it was only two posts. While I do sympathize with Artstudio cause he really doesn't know much English, it does go against the ToS to speak ENTIRELY in another language only. There is a simple workaround, speak a sentence in English and the rest can be Russian. I'd prefer it being the same message in both languages though, if only for ease of conversation. And it really isn't racism, this is just the first time this problem has come up on our sub-forum, it has nothing to do with race.

Will there be unique settlements for some cities? I suppose the list would consist of:

    Paris
    London
    Frankfurt
    Baghdad
    Warsaw
    Constantinople
    Jerusalem
    Belgrade
    Bucharest
    Tunis
    Edinburgh
    Dublin (?)
    Cairo
    Alexandria
    Rome
    Venice
    Naples
    Palermo

I would much rather have these later on considering these would make the release of a full campaign even more delayed.

I have reverse-engineered the file formats responsible for assigning and importing new battle maps (without needing to replace existing ones), and so being that I am a MK team member now I'd expect to see this at some point.

The main bottleneck there is we'd still need people to actually create the battle maps, which is certainly easier said than done.

    Would add to the custom cities suggestions;
Kiev, Krakow, Prague, Aarhus/Roskilde (Roskilde was Danmarks capital), Toledo/Cordoba/Barcelona, Lissabon, Damaskus

    Would remove from the suggestions
Warsaw (because its not on the map and Krakow was the "capital"), Bucharest (because it´s not on the map), Palermo (because it´s not on the map), Edinburgh, Naples and Dublin (not so important in this time and because it would be too much), Alexandria (Cairo was more important)

    So my complete suggestion list would be;
    Paris
    London
    Frankfurt
    Constantinople
    Jerusalem
    Tunis (?)
    Cairo
    Damaskus
    Bagdhad/Mekka
    Rome
    Venice
    Kiev
    Krakow
    Prague
    Belgrade (?)
Aarhus/Roskilde (?, but there should be at least one city in the north)
    Toledo/Cordoba/Barcelona
    Lissabon (?)

Holy city of the Mashad al-Ridha, martyrdom of al-ridha (arbarshahr in the campaign). Large, and important. And beautiful.
I'm not shure if Nishapur should be the abarshahr city instead, I think it might have been the most important western trade city (in Khorasan that is) in the early 1200s.

Was Merv still one of the world's largest cities? It's a unique, if minor town on the map.

In central Iran, Esfahan is a good candidate. Though for the later periods probably, as far as I know it didn't far so well during the Mongol conquests or even since the end of the great Arab dynasties. It's great mosque is Safavid I believe, at least the present mosque(s) (the entire complex has several praying places).

Erbil with it's famous (though hardly unique in the upper mesopotamia region) citadel.

Another famous muslim (Shia) city of domes and mosques is Karbala, wich would nicely replace al-hira on the map (in regards to the city's position, not the whole regions)

Anyhow do at least on Nishapur/Mashad. If the map went just a little further east there would be more afghan/sogdian cities to do.

Ok, besides the suggestions for unique cities I would like to ask whether there will be cultural/regional differences for cities and their appearance on campaign-and battlemap? (Although I´ve already seen a screenshot with a very rus-like city)

    This regional differenciation in campaign-and battlemap would be nice;
1.Northern cities (all cities in the north of Stralsund, besides the british isles and balticum... made with much brickstone)
2.Central european cities (from British Isles down to the pyrenees and alps, from the Atlantic sea to Krakow in the east... with fold- and stone buildings)
3.Eastern european cities (in the east of Krakow, southern border could be at the level of Caffa... Orthodox-style buildings, much wood; like wooden walls or houses)
4.Mediteranean cities (all around the Mediteranean sea, Balkan inclusive, southern border; Cape of Gibraltar, eastern border; eventually region around Kayseri... Bright colours, clay bricks... You know, what I mean)
5.Islamic cities (southern map, from Marrakech via the Holy Land to the eastern map border... With ornaments, bright stone buildings, mosques, gardens...)

Thats too general, I would rather divide them into three groups 1) Persian (Khwaresm, Seljuks, and Zengids) 2) Arabian (Ayyubids, Abbasids, and the everyone in the Arabian peninsula) 3) North African (Almohads, and Hafsids).

I would also like to see
    1) Ethiopian (Makuria, and Zagwe)
    2) Steppe (Cumania, and Volga Bulgaria)
    3) caucasus (Georgia, Alania, etc)
