1. Main features
   
   • Historical battles: old ones updated, 2 new
   • Regimental Mod for 1815
   • SP campaign
   • Desktop launcher (for Windows)
   • 1240 units (230 new)
   • 183 historical generals (24 new)
   • 37 factions (4 new)
   • 77 scenarios (22 new), many old ones updated or rebalanced
   • Minor gameplay changes (see details below)

2. New factions
   
   • France 1799 (19): France's army in the Egypt and Italian campaigns, not really experienced but very maneuvrable
   • Holy Roman Empire (19): precursor of Austria in the pre-1805 battles, with a mix of slow large units and fast small ones
   • Piemonte-Sardegna 1796 (17): France's major opponent with the HRE in the Italian campaign
   • United States (14): War of 1812's roster
   
   
3. Historical battles
   
   • New battle of La Rothière (with or without snow, enabled by selecting the box above the start button)
   • New battle of Elchingen (two scenarios, the first with historical deployment and the second with an advanced morning deployment for fast engagement)
   • New victory conditions for Rivoli
   • New scenario for Quatre-Bras early afternoon scenario (enabled by selecting the box above the start button)
   
   
4. Infantry
   
   • Slightly more units able to form squares
   • Skirmishers move in looser formations
   • Attempt to reduce fire-in-melee occurences
   
   
5. Cavalry
   
   • Medium and heavies slightly more expensive
   • Charges against infantry are more penetrating, especially for heavy cavalry, less for medium, a little for lights
   • Standard generals cost 60
   • Note: killing or using the general is no longer prohibited; since v6 the general unit is as vulnerable as any other unit
   
   
6. Scenarios
   
   • A lot of rebalancing following feedbacks from players
   • Most of new scenarios are using the new factions
   
   
7. Download & installation
   
   • File (1.8 Gb): http://www.mediafire.com/file/1ved8u...-7.0-setup.exe
   • Launch the NTW3-7.0-setup.exe file, choose your language.
   • Select your NTW folder, by default it is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War" (warning: don't select the "data" folder like in v6)
   • Wait until all files are extracted.
   • Use the NTW3 launcher to start
   
   
8. Army selection
   
   • Because so many factions are now available, the weakest nations can be off screen if your resolution is not high enough. To select them you can use the pre-saved army setups:

Greetings all!
I was able to download and play this mod. I had it crash during a large battle. Since then it will still crash in battle but now the opposing force also blobs. I have no other mods for Napoleon, I downloaded it in the default file on the load screen. I also removed and re-installed your mod. I re-installed Napoleon and Steam, and now I have anywhere from 1-3 files that fail to validate when I verify integrity. I was able to play a first battle for a time and I was very impressed with the mechanics and would really like to play this mod, any suggestions?

TY for this great mod !

I'm trying Ottoman Empire sp campaign, at 60th turns i can notice :
-only one spy like like 5.1,
-only one gentleman like 5.1,
-regular crash with janissaries cav (it seems when using rifle) like 5.1.

So, its seems you make a good general improvement but with always some old bugs ^^

At least good to see that the team is alive, we can hope some fixes !

Hello everyone, i am here with a question: it could be possible to have installed and play NTW 3 vers. 7 with La montèè de l'Empire vers 4.2 or there might be conflicts?

Same here,

I got a total new and clean install (no any mods) of NTW and NTW III. But also during battles a crash (CTD).

Hello! I must say, I am deeply enjoying this mod. Well done!

I was also wondering if you guys have plans to add the other campaigns (Napoleon in Italy, Napoleon in Egypt, Iberia) to your mod, or no?

You have selected the napoleon total war directory when installing, instead you have to select the common directory because the installer add automatically NAPOLEON TOTAL WAR directory to the name.
Please disinstall V7 and reinstall V7

Hi,
The mod looks really great but unfortunately I wasn´t able to install it.
At first it looks like everything being okay but as soon as the installation is almost done it tells me that the installation failed because of a corrupted file I think the file is something like "naval v70" or something like that. I´ve tried everything including reinstalling NTW as well as verifying the integrity of the game cache but nothing was of any help. I´m pretty frustrated right now since I´ve already spend hours on this trying it over and over again without any success.


Hopefully some of you might be able to help me out wiht it.

PS: Also, before I forget it. I tried to download some of the previous versions of this game but was not able to download any of the files on mediafire. I clicked several times on the download button but it just didn´t do anything.

I had the same thing, but than I used Large Address Aware and so far that's helped.
