Sir Michael Moody prepares for battle. He can't wait to get into the fight.
OOC: He's willing to duel any nobles from the enemy side.

Re: Clash at Carlisle
The eventual engagement was rather one sided, with a massive Yorkist force facing the combined Percy-Scots host. Both sides lined up for battle, clashing before Carlisle Castle.
A battle that was already one sided turned quickly into a rout. Similar to a fate suffered by the Lancastrians at Wallingford, Percy and Durhams troops turned on the forces of Douglas in the midst of the battle. Surrounded by Yorkists, there was no immediate escape - thousands were cut down, with only the Earl of Douglas being able to cut his way through the Yorkist lines and escape. Beaufort himself was found dead following the battle, his entire force disintegrated save for Douglas and his bodyguards, who had fled back across the border to Scotland. The Yorkists had achieved total victory.

Re: Clash at Carlisle
Percy witnesses the carnage that had been performed by his troops, happy to know that his ruse had worked. His eyes watched as Beaufort was cut down, a victim of his own plot. Rumors had come North that the Queen's force was smashed by the Yorkists... this only reinforced that choices made by the Earl of Northumberland. With the deed done, he thanks the Bishop of Durham who returns with his soldiers back to his lands after the battle fought.

Re: Clash at Carlisle
OOC- actually, i planned on paying the upkeep on Talbot's troops...so i need to know if casualties were dealt.
IC- Sir Henry Stafford looked around in dismay. As much as he enjoyed the victory, it was a massacre. There was no honor in such cruel betrayal. He stumbles on the bodies until he reaches the castle. He nods the other lords if they are there and go look for his scotch. Maybe his brother has a point with that habit.
Meanwhile, Lord Talbot revel in the victory. A crushing victory, with total annihilation of the enemy. A first victory. His Grandfather would be proud. He gathers what is left of his troops and declares "now for wales. We have an agreement with lord Herbert." drunken from power, he begins marching to Pembroke, to meet with Lord Herbert's Force.
Sir Humphrey watch his nephew go with a smile. He gathers their irish allies "I suggest we go now to the king,to seal our bargain. I will be honored to march with you to london as a representative of house Talbot."
