Thousands upon thousands of Frenchmen and Englishmen lined up for the battle to come, they bore the flags of the houses Lancaster and Valois. Upon lining up many noble's were busy discussing military tactics for the battle. However before committing to battle she wanted to speak with her opponents first, carrying a white banner being accompanied by 25 bodyguards she left to neutral grounds. The Queen send messages to her opponents to the same before committing to battle. She stood amid the fields waiting for her opponent to come.

Let us see if the whoremaster of York dares to face me.

    Edward rides out with the Earl of Kent and 40 bodyguards. His men have an white banner as well and they ride up to her. Edward smirks then speaks;

The witch Queen. We finally meet on the field of battle. Can I expect you to surrender? I will be merciful now. Afterwards, I cannot say I'll be as nice to your nobles as I was at Towton.

Kent rides next to the King, gazing sternly yet silently at the Lancastrian command.

The Queen spat on the ground and frowned.

So the whoremaster has the courage to face me, a Queen

The Queen spread her arms as a show of mockery

Here, take me and my lands!

She sarcastically referred to her army that was behind her and would fight for her, this was her own answer to the word ''surrender''

Have you come to surrender?, because i will bathe in your blood if you do not.

He laughs. What a fool he thinks.

Never! Do you think I'll do that? You invaded MY lands with a lackluster force and didn't rush to London when you had the chance. Now, I have your in my grasp. I got to worry about traitors that I showed mercy to, and don't worry, I'll gladly have their heads this time. Do you have anything else to say, you witch?

The Duke of Norfolk, who had ridden besides King Edward, frowned at Margaret's words.

"What gives you the right to call these lands yours, you Queen of Beggars? You who promised away my lands, who has sold England like a common whore to Scotland and France? There will be no surrender from us, we will only accept one."

    ----

Far behind the battle lines in the Lancastrian camp sat Henry VI, worriedly looking over the two armies. They were gigantic, a sea of men, steel and banners as far as the eye could see. Henry sat on a horse dressed in armour and a surcoat displaying his heraldry. He looked to the sky, offering a prayer to God for his blessing, to deliver justice to those false traitors on the other side of the river. He wished to sit the throne once more, as was his birthright. He would sit until the Lord would take him from this fleeting life, and from the Heavens he would look down as his son and grandsons ruled righteously over England.

    @Blastoise

    The Queen frowned

Lands that have you usurped from my husband and me, you are not even crowned and this young fool thinks this are his lands?

I will see you death or die trying, i will never bend the knee to such a whoremaster, i shall destroy you and your pathetic army and pray upon its death.

    The Queen raised her hand

Here, kiss my ring, bend the knee, renounce your rights to the throne and disband your army, then you can live or i will make your entire life a hell whoremaster.

Queen Margaret right spat upon Norfolk's face

Who are you to determine whose lands are from who, Duke, you are beneath my rank. Have you not sucked Edwards cock yet for more power?, i heard you are both sodomites, no wonder why your master hasn't crowned yet...

"Do you intend to suggest reasonable terms, Margaret, or have you come to just spit empty insults?" Neville grumbled with a frown, wondering what the point was at this bandying of empty words. "Either suggest a reasonable accord, or end this farce and let the battle begin."

    OOC:
Roll: Assassination attempt on Edward IV. 1/20 for death, 2-5/20 chance of wounding.

    2, Edward is wounded.

Roll for wound: 11, Edward is wounded in the leg.

    IC:
Suddenly, a single crack broke sounded over the field, drowning out all other sounds. Birds lifted to the sky all around those who had gathered under the white banner, though they could all clearly see where the sound had come from. A single soldier with the red rose on his jacket, armed with a handgun, had appeared from the side out of the tall grass of the field. The soldier began running toward the Lancastrian lines, but to the lords that did not matter at all, for their eyes were centered on one man.

Edward IV, of the House of York, fell from his horse as the handgunner hit his target. However, Edward still lived, but the bullet had dug deep into his leg and he was bleeding heavily. His trusted knight immediately surrounded their liege and began taking him away, back to the Yorkist camp. Edward would not be fighting today.

"BETRAYAL! BETRAYAL! THE KING IS WOUNDED!" Kent screamed, drawing his blade from its scabbard and moving to shield the king from any further attack. "Retreat, damnit!" Spurring away, he smacked the rump of Edward's horse with the flat of his blade once the king was mounted again, sending it reeling back to the Yorkist lines along with the rest of Edward's men. There would be no parlay now, only battle, and a bloody one at that.

    Edward shouts out to Kent:

Kent!! Kill the Queen. Chivalry be damned! Kill the witch and bring me her head!

He hoped someone heard his cries for revenge.

Margaret and her bodyguards loudly cheered at the attempt on Edward's life. She yelled to her opponents with a devils smile

LOOKS LIKE THE WHOREMASTER HAS HAD BAD LUCK BOYS!!. Off we are, For Lancaster!

Margaret and her bodyguards left the neutral grounds and rushed back to the camp where word reached that Edward was heavily wounded in an attempt to lift spirits.

John Neville watched the horrific display by the Queen as a handgunner managed to get a good shot at the King's leg. The Queen of the Lancasters knew nothing but her desire to rule over England with an iron fist. He pulls on the reins of his horse, riding over to where the King was with other nobles as he was taken into a tent. Salisbury looks back at the battlefield that was growing with tension quickly.

She shows dishonor on the field of battle. She knows nothing but her raving ambition to rule over all good Englishmen! I do not care if she is royalty or a woman, she must be executed without question for showing such dishonor!
