Hi all,

I recently got a pretty good system and installed the game to try it out.

Specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
2 Gig DDR2 RAM
2 Hard Drives in RAID0
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS 640 MB

The game loads and runs smoothly but I've noticed an issue on the campaign map and in battles.

On the map, if I try to select more than one unit in an army (ctrl-click) it can take 5-10 seconds for the unit to be selected and if I select two and then try a third, it selects the third unit and deselects the others.

In a battle, I can watch a battle play out and 1024x768 with everything cranked and it is smooth but when I try to move the camera around the battlefield, it is sluggish (stutters periodically for 2 second lags at a time as I move around).

This even occurs with all the video settings put on the lowest (even with Shader 1) so I don't think it is a graphic problem but I'm not sure. I do have the latest Nvidia drivers and I have played around some with the video card settings to adjust quality vs. performance with no effect.

Has anyone seen this before? Could this be a Core 2 or RAID problem?
