The mods and I have been discussing new venues to gather more income and we have a rough idea of what we wanna do.

Stipends/Salaries for Great Offices

Lord Chancellor: 30,000Lord High Steward: 20,000
Earl High Marshal: 20,000
Admiral of the Fleet: 20,000
Lord Secretary of the State: 15,000
Lord Privy Seal: 20,000
Lord Lieutenant of Ireland: 20,000 (from Dublin)
Warden of the Scottish Marches: 20,000 (from Carlisle)
Lord Captain (Lieutenant) of Calais: 25,000 (from Calais)
Lord Chancellor of Wales: 20,000 (from Caernarfon)
Lord Protector of England: No Stipend

Additional Income

For every title a noble holds, except the King, they will gain a fraction of the profit instead of the full income.

The following incomes affect only secondary titles, not primary ones.

Option A
Rich Income - 17,500 Crowns
Prosperous Income - 15,000 Crowns
Average Income - 12,500 Crowns
Poor Income - 10,000 Crowns

Option B
Rich Income - 15,000 Crowns
Prosperous Income - 10,000 Crowns
Average Income - 7,500 Crowns
Poor Income - 5,000 Crowns

As for the King, he will granted a new mechanic called Royal Taxes. There are two ways to achieve this:
1. Parliament: By using Parliament to approve of taxes, the King has a chance to gain more money.
2. Royal Decree: By using Royal Decrees to approve of taxes, the King has a chance to gain quick money, but would be less than using Parliament approval.

Maybe a third option? Something that taxes the clergy or a royal tithe from the nobility?

This mechanic can only be used once per week and only one method can be used. However, Parliament method can only be used once every two or three weeks.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Looks good to me. Perhaps the abuse of royal decree could lead to some penalties for the King?

Option A is okay since it's a bit more, but B if you like. So would this mean we would get income now from each province instead of just 1?

Everyone but the king would, yeah; he can tax both the nobles and commons for extra income.

We wanna try to diversify a means to gain income. Nobles and Kings can request loans and nobles can tax as well, so we might as well add in some more chances for both sides of the coin.

I say we implement it now, with option B (more money) since we made unit sizes smaller.

Using Parliament to levy taxes frequently could result to some severe consequences with Royal Decree being less, but still severe.
