To quote "It´s a Giraffe" : "A few sources say that the Bohemian soldiers would paint their faces black with either mud or clay before the battle, and would act in combat as if they weren’t “human” (The Italians said this. This is most likely due to the Czechs’ trace pagan ancestry, especially from a non-Bohemian perspective). Some of the soldiers were, indeed, criminals. The death sentence could be fulfilled by servitude to the king. And being cut down for your country was probably seen as a more honorable death than the gallows or the chopping block "

Some flaild would be nice too... like with 2-3 heads... or a large one with chain and big metal ball

Edit: spiked cillenders too alongside metal spheres... for both shafted maces flails morning stars etc and chained... with handle... even shaft and handle to the peasants of Vlachs

Awesome sauce, great job, man. I love how rag-tag the peasants look, it's very realistic and diverse.

Great job like always guys! Question though: Is Bohemia going to have base units like every other faction, as it was sort of a Medieval powerhouse, and then have the Hussites as extras? I ask because it feels like there aren't enough non-militia/peasant units?

This preview deals only with the hussites. That means that separate early, high and late era bohemian units will be done as well. In fact several late era units are already done. Initially I was considering of making the hussites be the 3rd tier for the bohemian faction since at the start of the 15th century / the mod's 3rd tier the hussite movement was "in charge" in the bohemian lands. However this didn't feel entirely right either.
Hence a separate late era roster for the bohemians will be done.
In terms of Hussism, it will of course have advantages and disadvantages in your campaign so you have an incentive for whatever you choose, so let the hussite movement take over your lands or deny them. I guess we could introduce a high profile "agent" in the person of Jan Hus spreading these new ideas across the lands. So if you want to prevent Hussism you would need to try to get rid of him first. Assasinate or whatever.

Oh wait... does that mean a choice for tier 3 units similar to the religion option of the Axumites in Attila... unique units given by religious buildings, christianity vs paganism, in this case catholicism vs hussitism!? That would be sweet!

I would also love to see that happen

Well that would mean that if you decide / it so happens that hussism can spread in your land and it reaches a certain percentage then militarily speaking you will have the edge ( not necessarily better troops but better tactics in form of wagenburg and of course handguns, also units with better morale / determination, whereas other factions would still have to research the technology and have a corresponding building to have firearms e.g ). It could also have disadvantages due to possible rebellions and a split in religion as well as a shadow faction as a thirn in your side. Or we can have it so that the player can either embrace or reject hussism but either way it will spread. The details of course would need to be worked on.

Will the Hussites have some sort of Fanatic unit? Like a bunch of Flagellants with robes and clubs who don't break at all and fight to the last man? Or is that to Catholic/Fantasy sounding? I ask because of how dedicated the Wars of Religion got.

    Wow, great job, really!

However, it would be nice if you renamed the Hussite Shooters unit to Píšťalníci (Czech: Fluters) because of the interesting etymology: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol..._and_etymology
