Unlimited men on battlefield?

I saw something in the readme that mentions that you add some phrase (--game.unlimited_men_on_battlefield) to a command line to enable this? How? I added it to the Target of my shortcut, to no avail, I keep getting a message that says the game has encountered a fatal error.

after installing patch 1.1 , go in the game and come out again , then go to the prefence file ( open with notepad) then under game title you see unlimited_men_on battlefield 0 , no change the 0 to 1 , your done now XD

I don't see it :/ medieval2.prefernce.cfg right? Definitely not in there, I even used the Find function.

The patch creates a new file something like C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\medieval2.preference.cfg if it's not there then you probably didnt install the patch properly. You can check by going into the options menu in the game and seeing what version is displayed in the top right, if it still says 1.0 then you haven't installed the patch and the file you're looking for wont be there.

Yeah, I can find the file, but not the phrase within the file that says 'unlimited_men' etc. Do I need to add it?
