    *Foreign units should only be hired for war and battle.

    *Livery and Maintenance can only be made up of Heavy Footmen, Yeomen Archers and Men-at-Arms. Just as Retinue can only be made up of Knights.
    Now we are still determining a major change of making units consist of 1,000 men instead of 300 men, which will be discussed after Towton. Which means we would have to adjust the sizes of militias if that were the case to balance the enormous change in numbers from our original standards.

    You won't be able to buy extra Light Footmen or Militia Longbowmen as you get plenty from militias. We won't have a set cap for each rank (like in GoT) unless necessary but, like any noble, you can buy whatever you can manage with your income. The decision on foreign unit limitations is final and cannot be negotiated at this time. We feel this is best given the power of some of these units. More units may be added on later, but that is not for certain.

    This will be added in after Towton when people begin to generate money.

    Guys, yay or nay to unit stats? I am thinking of nay cause we can make this simple in terms of battles. Less about modifiers for units and more revolves around the orders and the commanders traits.

    Hmm, while I agree that it would be good with less modifiers and more about orders and traits, I do think we need some way of differentiating between militia, livery and maintenance, and foreign mercenaries in terms of quality.

    I was thinking of adding small bonuses, just like +1, +2 or +3 to rolls and vice versa (-1, -2, and -3 to rolls).

    I approve in general, though I think Switzers should get a +3 against cavalry instead of longbowmen.
