Changing which factions can take over eachother

So i am on my first play through and just found out that vampire counts cant take dwarven settlements.. this was kind of a bummer to me as i was really looking forward to this battle.

Has anyone looked into what controls this and possibly eliminating the restrictions here? I'd be happy to help work on that mod, but i havent touched the files yet, just playing a bit before i dive in

Take a look at the mod Settle Anywhere, it allows any faction to settle in any other city. As for doing it yourself, a good chunk of this will be in converting the factions to all use the same settlement chain and making each special settlement usable by all factions.

They do indeed! I have this mod installed alongside Radious and Reikland took over the Dwarven holds of Karak Hadrin and the Sylvanian's hammered the Dwarves in the mountains around them
