    Default Minor bug fixes?

Do you mean tweaks in the mod or "minor bug fixes"? Anyway, this is the only mod I play (most are total conversion and do not use mod switch), love the historical accuracy of the Greek City States (independent) (they really were spread out everywhere), and would thank you all for the work! Dime, if you stand alone I salute thee.

Minor bug fixes usually means a small fix within the mod to correct a mistake with the latest version. Its almost always updating some text for a new unit and things like that.

And yes DBH is a hero this mod is awesome

I'd have to agree. Keeping the skins of vanilla RTW was an act of genious, if not also saving her countless hours of time for modding legions for no reason

DBH is one of the best all around modders in the TW community, this mod is over 80% his work and he managed to make some really painfully buggy things working properly (loyalty was a pain in the butt to manage, BI religion system is proving an even harder problem to implement in RTW as you are limited to 3 choices and in DBH opinion they are not enough to represent government systems) while listening to the community needs and keeping an improvement pace almost unmatched by any other modification...

The beauty of XGM in my opinion is that it does not depart too much from vanilla gameplay style despite the deep changes underneath, everything feels well integrated in a way that makes it seem more like a professional commercial expansion than a community modification...

Of course the game is a bit harder to vanilla, but all around the game feels more enriched than changed... Oh well, enough rambling, let's all hope DBH will come back to XGM modding soon!

Amen to that - I needs my regular XGM fix sooo bad.

p.s. why does everyone beat up on Gaul? Could you look at some victory conditions that mean maybe not all of Iberia, rome and Germans are bent on their destruction

    Slightly off topic,
In my campaign Gaul are doing really well. They began by taking all the nearby rebel territories (incl south britain + all of ireland), then found themselves in a war with Rome and Germania simultaneously. To my surprise they managed to beat rome entirely (thankfully marius reforms hit a few turns before the last Roman city was taken) and held a fairly static front against Germania (who werent fighting anyone else at the time too) while doing it. Im not keen on the idea, but im going to have to launch an invasion of them (im GCS btw) before they beat Germania and become unstoppable.

Gaesatae might be the factor in gaul's advance, they can hold their own even against legion pretty well...

Bring lots of missile cavalry (elephants are even better) and you should be fine
