King Renly Baratheon emerged from his tent, surrounded by his army, with his close council all by his side. All except for one member, Queen Margaery Tyrell, who had not been seen in public lately. Many wondered whether the Queen's absence had something to do with the rumors surrounding Renly, and his relationship with the Queen's brother Loras. Nonetheless, all of these people still believed in Renly as their King. Renly had the temperament lacked by his brothers Robert and Stannis required to be a successful ruler of people, and he was not about to sit back and let the boy Joffrey or Stannis sit upon the Iron Throne.
The people do not know why they have been called today, but they know it must be something important, as everyone has not been summoned at once like this since the wedding between King Renly and Queen Margaery.
Renly stood in front of his people and began to speak: "Friends, the war is about to begin, but that is not why I have called you here today. Today is not a day of swords and bows, today is a day of great celebration"
Renly turns back towards the tent he emerged from and nods, and out comes Queen Margaery, with a newborn child in hand. Margaery joins Renly's side, and the King again begins to speak: "Ladies and Gentleman, I introduce you to Prince Matthos Baratheon".
The people cheered for their King and their newborn Prince, and returned to their camps to prepare to fight to put their King on his throne.
