Can't marry a princess

I have two princesses, one is quite charmful and the other is... well... let's say she has one "heart" only. This ugly sister is in Sicily right now and there is an option to marry her to a sicilian leader. I sent her to do the talking, proposed such deal, they accepted and... nothing happened. She's still there, there's no marriage at all. Next turn I can do the same thing and the result is the same. They accept marriage proposal but there's no real marriage happening. It's the first time I see such thing in M2TW... Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix?

Have you tried to marry her to somebody else, just to see if she's the problem or if it's the Sicilian general?

It seems Sicilians preferred the more charming princess. It took me some time but I sent her and did the same with the better princess and it worked - they accepted and she disappeared and married Sicilian king. The ugly one resumed her duty as diplomat. Well, being ugly was always a bad thing...
