If you're calling it easy I'll guess Mayas but I'm not convinced. Doesn't seem to be many interesting wars to give it away - good map.

Going with the Apache here.
Derp, just realized I forgot to add the difficulty... It was medium for battles and very hard for the campaign.
Anyway, the answer was the Mayas.

I quickly captured all the rebel settlements in the Yucatan peninsula, but then stopped any further aggression and concentrated on improving my economy and infrastructure. I am a pretty bad player and was afraid of simultaneously fighting both the Spaniards and the English. New Spain lost many men fighting against the Tarascans, Chichimecs and Aztecs for Cuahtemoc, so their expansion has been slowed down. Aztecs did remarkably well fighting against the Tarascans, Spanish and Tlaxcalans in three different fronts and they were saved at the last minute by a war between the Chichimecs and the Tarascans. The Apache are overpowered and easily steamrolled the rebels in modern south USA. The French succeeded in massacring half their armies (around 6 stacks), but they eventually agreed to become their protectorate (only to break away two turns later ). Right now, I have annihilated 8 of the 10 English armies and am ready to backstab the Spanish.
Dude with the Food and King Athelstan are repped! Congratulations, Mayas were not an outsider, but there were many possible candidates, like the Apachean empire and the Tarsacans, who managed to grab and Aztec region near the Pacific Ocean.
Let's revive the thread:

Alright, I don't think there is much point waiting for more participants. The correct answer is...

I mostly focused on improving my realm's infrastructure, but I was also lucky and managed to grab almost all the surrounding rebel settlements with minimal effort. The first war began when I sent the garrison to liberate Dijon from the locals. The Republic of Genoa, which controlled Marseilles, immediately sized the opportunity and declared war to me. Their urban militias, though, were an easy prey for my cavalry, so I quickly annexed Provence and Liguria, beforing blackmailing them for peace. The English temporarily besieged Paris, but they were also defeated and forced to cede Normandy. They randomly declare war, in futile attempts to capture Bruges, but their forces are annihilated and always pay very expensively for peace. I was the one behind the Crusade against Granada, because I considered them the Moors a bit too lethal. The campaign was successful, I exchanged Murcia and Granada for Pablona and the Moors are much weaker now. Right now, I am preparing to attack the excommunicated English, who are about to evict the Scottish from Britain, while I also joined the Crusade against the Fatimids, whose expansion worries me a bit. I plan to create a military base in Eastern Mediterranean, basically at the expense of the Egyptians and Byzantines.

this has been one of the most weird games I have seen thus far.
Turn ~75
Crusades: Acre - failed, nobody joined. Jerusalem - failed, nobody joined. Constantinople: failed, nobody joined. Lisbon - ongoing
Jihads - Baghdad - failed, nobody joined.
Mongols - have arrived in Baghdad and are moving for Adana
Money - ~15000
I turtled a lot, involuntarily. I had to spend mostl of my income on cathedrals and priests to stop a sudden swarm of witches that one bastard heretic who kept turning all my priests
