First Year of Rickard's Reign
The Kingdoms are in turmoil. Foreign invaders on the vulnerable fringes of the realms assail from the south, west, and the east. To the south, a powerful Andal invasion force, emboldened by their seccesses in the Vale and Riverlands, attempt to march northwards through the quagmire of the Neck. In the East, another Andal invasion force has raided the lands after sailing across the sea in their longships. Under the leadership of House Karstark, the lords of the east attempt to beat back the foreigners. IN the west, King Rickard attempts to avenge his father's death by bringing the fight to the Ironborn on their own lands, claimed in decades past from lords long dead. The time for action has come.
