Post here any IC messages you wish for the whole North to know about. As this is a single-Kingdom RP the usual time rules need not apply, instead we will go with a flat one hour time delay between posting and the realm learning about it.

Riders bring news to all the Lord of the North:

A call-to-arms has spread out across the North from Karhold, beckoning the lords and men of the North to battle against the Andal settlers who have taken the life of several Karstarks. The new lord of the Grey Cliffs, Harras Karstark, promises loot and friendship to those who aid him in sending the foreigners back into the sea.

Ye are to meet at the hill of Mardon, near where the Last River flows into the sea

Word spreads that every Northern house is obligated to send fifty men, armed and equipped with horse and spear, to muster at Barrowton by order of the King of Winter, Rickard Stark.

Rickard Stark sends riders to his commanders in the field reminding them that the columns, cavalry, and fleet are to begin the process of ferrying men across to Bear Island and to harry the enemy and determine their strength. The Royal Host has begun it's march towards Sea Dragon Point to be ferried over last.

Word of victory in the east spreads by horse out from the Last River, driving towards Winterfell. The rider and those who parrot him claim that a great victory was won at the Last River, where the Karlon Starks and their allies in the houses of Bolton, Umber, and Grey-Stark slaughtered Andals on a hill and pushed them back into the sea.

By the time it reaches Winterfell, the common story has become that Karstark champions led by the lord himself slaughtered thousands of Andal invaders, though the rider continues to tell the true story.
