Once the players who will play cleared, i will draw an order for choosing factions. Then you guys will choose with that order.

Bumpy bump![]()
Mithridate didn't answer my visitor message so we will start without him.
1.themzr - England
2.ramble - Norway
3.arbo -
4.stouff -
5.awesomesheeps -
6.mithridate -
7.lord luka -
8.saleska2 -
Now themzr will choose his faction first then ramble then oathsworn... when choosing phase finished i will create the hotseat.
It will be faster if you guys tell next player that its his choosing turn.

Alright, so what about the rules? I think everyone agreed that 60% for any spy/assassin action is ok, and I am personally fine with this.
But I think bribery should be allowed, as this is an important part of the game.
Also I insist on preset passwords being implemented here. This will make the hotseat not slow down when somebody is late or asks for sub without need of sending cleared saves next turn all the time. Just put in your password and send it to the Admin and/or allies. Thoughts?
I'd like to have bribing in as well tbh. Not a big deal though.
Allright I took a look at the descr_strat and I think scotland is a little bit too strong as they can press on to England very fast with a very strong army but with Nottingham and all other ressources England could have a chance still. It is somewhat balanced I believe we should use it.
[EDITED to eradicate confusion]
BTW clicking through the turns with the descr_strat I get an error and the gamecloses. does anyone else have that?
ofc there are new messages when im working on my post.
but yeah since Mith didnt respond to our admin and he hasnt replied in this thread yet it is fair to assume he is not interested.
Welcome to the flock ArBo
Im ok with picking factions as zender proposed. Lets get it rolling
I will allow bribing then, since the majority is for it. [EDITED OP regarding]
no im against preset passwords. we do what we always do
BUT pleasecheck the descr_strat. I somewhat get an error afterthe furst turns are done. does anyone else have that?
So in what order do we pick factions? Using Zender's or Stouff's list?
Or do we pick 3 factions? I don't understand
Zender is the admin, right? I think his list

starting new hotseat? sign me up :3
Argh, hate it. It does indeed crash for me aswell, Zender should try to see if it works, I can fix it but it takes quite a bit of time.
I'll take England![]()

What map borders are accurate? One in the OP or Saleska's? And is Prague out of bound too?
@saleska2 I found 2 possibly bug-causing issues in the descr_strat, but Ied up my SS installation trying to fix them with Geomod, so I'll try to help you doing so (as my installation is now corrupted, I have no idea if these will actually solve the issues, but I think they should be adapted anyway).
Firstly, only the factions in the game need to be summed up at the beginnning of the file, this being the eight playable ones and slave and timurids (since they're still programmed in) in the unplayable section.
Also, a wide range of settlements that are supposed to be rebel are not listed in the file at all. These should be added to the rebel settlements list.
I'm not too much of a modder though, so please tell me if I'm an idiot![]()
Yeah Geomod doesnt work with SS sadly.
-the factions being in the playable part or not is irrelevant, its really only something thats something for the faction choosing and does not affect anything ingame
-As for the second point, it is possible but I dont know/think so. You can simply delete a settlement by deleting it entirely from the descr.strat, this isnt really a problem and is done quite often. The only thing the descr.strat should do is improve these settlements and give them stats. However, I would not be surprised if the the crashes happen because the AI as rebels is trying to do something with certain settlements which ends up being impossible and therefor the crash. However this would be weird as SS seems to be the only mod having this problem
I have experienced this before and it was because there were certain factions not in the game. The last time was in an early era SS where I needed France/Norway and Aragon in the game before I could finish a turn. What I am guessing is that the game is trying to activate some script but is unable to do so because either there are not enough factions in the game, or a settlements no longer exists, or its missing the factions to activate the script. Basicly what I have to do is put back in the factions and delete them to see when it starts crashing, if there is any other solution, yes pls.
I am getting torn apart between Novgorod and Norway. Both factions look fabulous. But I think I'll give Norway a shot since I am playing as Novgorod in the other HS
Poland pls.

Here he is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d39FBRxBM8k
How about just getting rid of most of the script then? This would be quite easy, since most of it is battle AI anyway. Let me try some stuff real quick.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...zh0RzBlckJVMTA Could you try this as script? I think all settlement-related stuff is out, except for the ones that are still on the map (necessary for the William Wallace event for example - do you still want that in the hotseat?).
Thats why it annoys me, I have already completely deleted all campaign_scripts. However not every script is done through that file. If its a script then its a scipt that cant be put out.
