    Default Faction information

I plan to make a series of videos giving a short overview of the various factions in Morning Sun. For the Japanese factions this will mainly be a brief summary of the clan but I will go into more details regarding the new cultures (Chinese, Korean, Tusi, Jurchen, Mongolian, and Tibetan).

I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of various Japanese clans. In this video I'll be explaining the Japanese clans most closely associated with Oda Nobunaga.

    Akechi

In June 1582 Akechi Mitsuhide moved against Oda Nobunaga's position at Honnoji, resulting in Nobunaga committing suicide. Unfortunately I cannot make this mod start in June, which is why it starts in January. Akechi's reasons for opposing Nobunaga are unclear and 13 days later he was killed by Hashiba Hideyoshi at the Battle of Yamazaki.

    Shibata

Shibata Katsuie was one of Oda Nobunaga's generals but he was unable to march against Akechi because he was fighting against Uesugi Kagekatsu. He later sided with Oda Nobutaka against Hashiba Hideyoshi but was crushed by Hashiba. This is why the Shibata faction is allied with Oda.

    Oda

After the death of Oda Nobunaga the Oda clan needed a new daimyo. 23 year old Oda Nobutaka was supprted by Shibata Katsuie, while 2 year old Oda Hidenobu was supported by Hashiba Hideyoshi. Oda Nobutaka was defeated by Hideyoshi and committed suicide. Oda Hidenobu later became the ruler of the Oda clan and died in 1605.

    Hashiba

Hashiba Hideyoshi, later known as Toyotomi Hideyoshi, defeated Akechi and obtained a dominant position in the Oda clan. He then defeated Shibata and became the most powerful daimyo in Japan. Though he never became Shogun he did obtain the position of Imperial Regeant. However after uniting Japan Hideyoshi had a country full of skilled generals, most of whom had a much better claim to being Shogun than he did, and was worried they may try to overthrow him. In order to resolve this problem he decided to invade Ming China as this would give the generals an alternative enemy to fight. Hideyoshi asked Joseon Korea to allow Japanese troops to march through Korea in order to attack China. The Korean government refused and Hideyoshi responded by invading Korea in 1592.

    Tokugawa

Though Tokugawa Ieyasu was intially an enemy of the Oda clan they allied with them after the Oda Nobunaga defeated the Imagawa clan. After the death of Oda Nobunaga Tokugawa remained neutral until Toyotomi Hideyoshi was the victor. In 1590 Hideyoshi conquered the 8 provinces controlled by Hojo he offered them to Tokugawa in exchange for the 5 provinces Tokugawa controlled. Tokugawa accepted and moved to the kanto region of Japan, with his capital being in Edo (which later was renamed Tokyo). After the death of Toyotomi Hideyoshi the Council of Five Elders ruled until Toyotomi Hideyori was old enough to rule. However Japan soon split into two factions; one supporting Tokugawa and one supporting Ishida Mitsunari. After winning the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 Tokugawa became the Shogun of all of Japan.

    Date

The Date clan increased their power by fighting against neighbouring clans, such as Soma and Ashina. After Oda Nobunaga was assassinated Date Terumune supported Toyotomi Hideyoshi. After the defeat of the Hojo clan in 1590 Date Masamune submitted to Hideyoshi. Masamune later fought in the Imjin war and after Hideyoshi's death sided with Tokugawa Ieyasu. Though Masamune served both Hideyoshi and Tokugawa loyally both were suspicious of him as he had one of the largest fiefdoms in Japan.

    Hojo

Hojo Ujitsuna created the late Hojo clan and in 1524 he took Edo Castle from Uesugi Tomooki, beginning a long-running rivalry between the Hojo and Uesugi families. Ujitsuna would fight many more battles against the Ogigayatsu branch of the Uesugi. His son Ujiyasu fought against the Ogigayatsu Uesugi in 1545, sided with the Takeda clan against Uesugi in 1563, then fought against Takeda Shingen in 1569. After the Siege of Odawara in 1590 Toyotomi Hideyoshi exiled the leaders of the Hojo clan Hojo Ujinao and it dissolved in 1591 after the death of Ujinao.

    Saika Ikki

The Ikko-ikki were a group of peasant farmers, Buddhist monks, Shinto priests and local nobles that rose up against daimyo rule. They were known for their use of arqubuses. Their main fortress was at Hongan-ji in Osaka (modern day Osaka castle) but this was destroyed by Oda Nobunaga in 1580. After the death of Nobunaga the Saika Ikki sided with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, fought in the Imjin war, and fought for Tokugawa at the Battle of Sekigahara. Some members of this clan later served Date Masamune.

    Shimazu

Under Shimazu Yoshihisa the Shimazu clan was able to conquer almost all of Kyushu, with only the areas controlled by the Otomo clan not under their control. However in 1587 Toyotomi Hideyoshi invaded Kyushu with a force of over 200,000 and defeated the Shimazu clan. Shimazu Yoshihiro fought during the Imjin war and at the Battle of Sekigahara sided with Ishida Mitsunari. After Ishida Mitsunari was defeated Yoshihiro's army of 1,500 was surrounded by 30,000 of Tokugawa Ieyasu's soldiers. Yoshihiro was able to fight his way out of this army and Tokugawa allowed his family to retain their domain.

I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of various Japanese clans. In this video I'll be explaining the Japanese clans that were playable in the vanilla version but are not playable in Morning Sun 2.

    Chosokabe

In 1574 Chosokabe Motochika overthrow the Ichijo and by 1574 controlled all of the Tosa province. By 1583 he controlled all of Shikoku but in 1585 Toyotomi Hideyoshi invaded with an army of 100,000 and Motochika surrendered. Motochika later took part in the invasions of Kyushu and Korea. Chosokabe Morichika sided with Ishida Mitsunari at the Battle of Sekigahara and the clan was destroyed after the Battle of Osaka in 1615.

    Hattori

In Japan there are two well-known ninjitsu schools, the Iga and Koga located in Iga and Koga respectively. The Hattori clan practised the Iga school and were located in the Iga province, until Iga was conquered by Oda Nobunaga in 1581. As Hattori Hanzo assisted Tokugawa Ieyasu the Tokugawa Shogunate employed ninja to guard Edo castle and provide intelligence.

    Mori

Through skilled in diplomacy and military combat Mori Motonari was able to defeat the Amago, Ouchi, and Otomo clans; allowing him to control most of Chugoku. He also supplied the Ikko-ikki by seas during their war with Oda Nobunaga. In 1582 Mori Terumoto fought against Toyotomi Hideyoshi but was defeated. Terumoto took part in the Kyushu invasion and sided with Ishida Mitsunari at the Battle of Sekigahara, resulting in their domain being reduced.

    Otomo

After encountering the Jesuit missionary Francis Xavier in 1551 Otomo Sorin converted to Christianity. Sorin then fought against several clans, including the Shimazu and Mori, for conrol of Kyushu. Otomo controled most of nothern Kyushu but after the Battle of Mimigawa in 1578 the Shimazu defeated them and captured several provinces. Sorin sided with Toyotomi Hideyoshi when he invaded Kyushu in 1587 and Hideyoshi restored these provinces to Otomo. They did not play a major role during the Battle of Sekigahara but were able to keep their domain.

    Takeda

Between 1542 and 1550 Takeda Shingen conquered the Shinano province. Between 1553 and 1564 he fought 5 battles against Uesugi Kenshin at Kawanakajima. He allied with Hojo Ujiyasu against the Uesugi in 1563, then went to war with Hojo in 1569. Also in 1569 he allied with Tokugawa Ieyasu against the Imagawa clan. in 1572 Takeda lead an army of over 30,000 against the Oda-Tokugawa alliance but died during this campaign. He was succeed by Takeda Katsuyori but the Takeda clan was weakened by Oda-Tokugawa alliance after the Battle of Nagashino in 1575 and destroyed by them after the Battle of Temmokuzan in 1582.

    Uesugi

After becoming the daimyo of Uesugi Uesugi Kenshin battled against Takeda Shingen at Kawanakajima. There would be 4 further battles in this location. In 1560 Kenshin fought against the Hojo clan but was unable to capture Odawara Castle . Kenshin was able to capture the Etchu region by siding with the Shiina clan against the Jinbo clan, then by defeating the Shiina clan in 1575. In 1577 Kenshin defeated Shibata Katsuie and Oda Nobunaga at the Battle of Tedorigawa. Kenshin then died in 1578 and there was then a succession crisis between Uesugi Kagekatsu, supported by the Takeda clan, and Uesugi Kagetora, supported by the Hojo clan. Uesugi Kagekatsu became daimyo, served Hideyoshi as a general in the Imjin war, and sided with Ishida Mitsunari at the Battle of Sekigahara.

    Joseon Korea

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of Korea and the start of the Imjin war.

Joseon Korea was founded in 1392 when general Yi Seonggye overthrew the king of Goryeo and made himself king. In order to prevent other generals overthrowing his decendents the Korean generals were required to remain in the capital, until they needed to go to another location. While this was good for political stability it was bad militarily as there would be a delay between an invasion and the general being able to take effective action. This is represented in this mod by having most of the Korean generals around the capital Hanseong.

Until 1592 the main threats to Korea were the Jurchen nomads in the north and the Wako (Japanese pirates) in the south. As a result the Korean government had most of their army located in the north to counter any land invasions. The Korean navy was locates in the south to fight pirates and the local people were advised that when pirates attacked they should retreat to a fortified position as the pirates would not be willing to maintain a siege. However over a century of peace meant that both the army and navy were in poor condition.

Prior to the war in 1592 Toyotomi Hideyoshi demanded that Korea submit to Japan and allow his army to pass through Korea, so they could attack Ming China. As a loyal vassal of China Korea refused this demand. Hideyoshi then said that if Korea refused to allow his army passsage he would conquer Korea. Envoys from the two main political parties in Korea (the east and west parties) then visited Hideyoshi to determine whether Hideyoshi was serious about invading. As the one envoy though Hideyoshi was serious, while the other though he was bluffing the Korean court was divided and few preparations for war were made.

When the Japanese invaded with 158,000 soldiers on the 13th April 1592 the Korean navy under admiral Won Gyun initially did nothing as they thought this was a trade mission. After realising it was an invasion the admirals of Gyeongsang Won and Park Hong both retreated. After the Japanese destroyed the city of Busan, then attacked the nearby ships both admirals destroyed their ships to prevent them being captured and retreated.

Many Koreans responded to this invasion as if it was a normal pirate attack by running away from the Japanese army and headed for more secure locations. As a result the Japanese encountered little resistance from the army. This is represented in game by not allowing non-Korean factions to recruit Korean units, as there would be few people willing to fight. While the Koreans didn't fight the Japanese in pitched battles they did form various militias known as the "righteous armies" and launched guerilla raids against Japan. This is represented in game by the righteous Korean rebel units.

By the 5th June the Japanese army had made it to Chungju, where they fought general Sin Rip. Sin Rip positioned his army against a river to prevent them retreating but the Japanese countered this by attacking with their arqubuses, rather than fighting in close combat. As a result the Korean army was destroyed and the Korean royal family retreated to Pyongyang. As the royal family retreated the Korean army has no motivation to defend Hanseong and fled. Thus Hanseong was captured on the 10th June.

After capturing Hanseong the Japanese army marched to Pyongyang. Though the Koreans initially defended Pyongyang once they noticed that the Japanese were able to cross the Taedong River they retreated and the Japanese captured Pyongyang on the 20th July. The Japanese then focused their attention on attacking the Jurchens as the Korean army had effectively been beaten.

While the Japanese land campaign was going well their naval campaign was not. In June and July Admiral Yi Sun-Sin's command of the Korean navy resulted in over 100 Japanese ships being destroyed. This prevented the Japanese from resupply their armies in western Korea by sea and slowed down their advance into China. As there aren't any supply lines in Shogun 2 this is represented in game by being unable to recruit or replenish Japanese soldiers outside of Japan.

On the 5th January 1593 the army of 40,000 from China arrived in Pyongyang to help Korea. This force would stop the Japanese invasion of China and force the Japanese to retreat to southern Korea. However the war would last many more years.

    Ming / Tusi China

I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of Ming China, the Tusi clans, and the Ming's entry into the Imjin war.

In 1271 Song China was conquered by the Mongolian nomads and the Yuan dynasty was formed. Due to the discrimination against the Han Chinese by the Mongols there was discontent and several revolts. Zhu Yuanzhang was a poor Buddhist monk who joined the Red Turbans in 1352 and captured the city of Nanjing in 1356. After defeating a rival Han faction lead by Chen Youliang in 1363 and the suspicious death of the Red Turbans leader in 1367 there was no one who could contest Yuanzhang's power. Finally in 1368 Yuanzhang captured the Yuan capital Dadu (modern-day Beijing) and founded the Ming dynasty.

As Ming China was surrounded by many nomadic tribes; such as the Mongols, Jurchens, and Tusi; they created the Wei-Suo system in which each Wei provided 5,600 soldiers. However by the 16th century the number of soldiers actually serving in each wei was far less than this and the quality of troops had declined in many regions. As a result the Ming often employed Mongol, Jurchen, and Tusi mercenaries.

The Tusi are the aboriginal people that live in the western regions of China. They are made up of many different peoples, such as the Miao and Tujia, however they are represented as one group in this mod in order to make it easier to recruit and replace units in these regions. While the Tusi paid tribute to the Ming they were not very loyal.

After Toyotomi Hideyoshi sent 150,000 soldiers to invade Korea and much of Korea fell to the Japanese the Wanli Emperor responded by sending a 5,000 strong cavalry force lead by Zu Chengxun to assist the Koreans. After this army was easily defeated by the larger Japanese army the Ming responded by sending a larger army of 60,000 soldiers, which was lead by general Li Rusong and Imperial Superintendent Song Yingchang (under Ming military law any military officer has an accompanying bureaucrat who acted as the general's superior).

On the 8th January 1593 the Ming army of 60,000, lead by Li Rusong, attacked the city of Pyongyang from 3 directions; while leaving the Japanese, lead by Kobayakawa Takakage, with an escape route so they would be more likely to retreat rather than fight to the death. Due to Yi Sun-Shin naval campaign the Japanese were not able to effectively supply the 10,000 Japanese soldiers in Pyongyang as supplies had to be carried by a long land route prone to guerilla attacks, rather than by sea. Though the Japanese fought bravely against the Ming they were forced to retreat.

After losing Pyeongyang the Japanese decided to regroup at Hanseong as Kaesong would be more difficult to defend and had fewer supplies. Consequently the Ming were able to recapture Kaesong without a fight. On the January 21, while marching to Hanseong, the Ming army of 20,000 approached the Byeokjewan area north of Seoul and came across a Japanese force of 500-600 soldiers. Li Rusong then personally lead an attack against the Japanese force with 1,000 elite cavalry, only to become ensnared in a Japanese trap and surrounded by 41,000 soldiers. Li Rusong then retreated to a nearby force of 3,000 soldiers and was able to hold out until the Ming army of 20,000 was able to assist them. After a long battle the Ming were able to retreat back to Pyeongyang but they lost many of their elite retinues during this battle.

Hearing that the Ming were marching on Hanseong Kwon Yul had his army of 2,300 march to join the Ming. Kwon Yul arrived at Haengju and built a fort, however after the Ming were defeated at Byeokjewan his army was left isolated. In order to defend this position Kwon Yul melted metal to make cannons, had trees cut down to make spears, and brought up several hwacha. On the 12th February Kato Kiyomasa then attacked this fort with an army of 30,000 soldiers. Though the Japanese launched multiple assaults against this fort they were unable to capture it and were forced to retreat. Kwon Yul then retreated as his force would not be able to survive another attack.

After the battle of Byeokjewan the Ming army resumed their march on Hanseong. Due to the destruction in Hanseong by the Japanese and Korean peasants it was increasingly difficult for the Japanese to live in this city. While Hideyoshi offered to send an additional 200,000 soldiers to Korea as the Japanese commanders were unable to provide enough supplies for the 50,000-60,000 soldiers currently in Hanseong, due to the lack of harvest in Korea and Admiral Yi Sun-Shin's naval campaign, they advised Hideyoshi against sending additional soldiers. Consequently the Japanese commanders were looking for a way to quickly end this war. The Ming officers also wanted to end this war quickly due to the huge cost of supplying the Ming army in Korea; thus the two sides agreed to peace talks in April of 1593, much to the annoyance of the Koreans who wanted the Japanese to leave their country but were not invited to these peace talks.

Though the Japanese would withdraw to Busan and a peace deal was later reached the war would resume in 1597 and last until the end of 1598.

    Jurchen tribes

I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of various Jurchen clans.

The Jurchens were divided into the three groups by the Chinese. They were the Jianzhou Jurchens of modern Jilin Province who were sedentary agriculturalists, the Haixi Jurchens of modern Heilongjiang Province who were semi-agricultural, and the Wild Jurchens of northernmost Manchuria who hunted and fished.

Nurhaci was born in 1559 as part of the Gioro clan. In 1582 Nurhaci's father Taksi and grandfather Giocangga were killed by a rival Jurchen chieftain called Nikan Wailan. In 1583 Nurhaci began to unify the Jurchen bands and defeated Nikan Wailan in battle in 1587. In 1599 Nurhaci attacked the Hulun, a powerful alliance of 4 Jurchen tribes (the Hada, Hoifa, Ula, and Yehe clans). As Nurhaci won battles and more Jurchen soldiers started supporting him in 1601 he created the 4 Banners to organise them. The banners were Yellow, White, Red, and Blue; with each named after the color of their flag.

Nurhaci conquered the Hada clan in 1603, Hoifa in 1607, and Ula in 1613. Due to the ever increasing number of soldiers Nurhaci commanded he increased the number of banners to 8 in 1614 and declared himself Khan of the Aisin Gioro clan in 1616. As the Yehe clan was favoured by the Ming in 1618 Nurhaci proclaimed Seven Grievances against Ming government and in 1619 attacked the Yehe. The Ming and Joseons responded by attacking Nurhaci's army of 60,000 with a combined army of 70,000 but were crushed at the battle of Battle of Sarhu in April of 1619.

After conquering the Yehe and unifying the Jurchen Nurhaci started trying to conquer the Ming and by May 1621 had conquered the cities of Liaoyang and Shenyang. However during the Battle of Ningyuan in 1626 Nurhaci was wounded by a cannon and died on the 30th September at 68 years old. Nurhaci was succeeded by his son Hong Taiji. In 1635 Hong Taiji changed the name of the Jurchens to Manchu. In 1636 invaded Joseon Korea and by 1637 had conquered them. Between 1633 and 1644 he launched numerous expeditions against inner Mongolia and the Amur region, resulting in the conquest of the Mongols. However in 1643 Hong Taiji died and was succeeded by his 5 year old son Fulin.

In 1644 Beijing fell to a rebel army led by Li Zicheng, who proclaimed himself emperor of the Shun dynasty. As a result Ming general Wu Sangui sided with the Manchu and together they defeated Li Zicheng at the Battle of Shanhai Pass in May 1644. Due to this victory the Manchu captured Beijing and on the 8th November 1644 made Fulin the Shunzhi Emperor of the Qing dynasty. However it would not be until 1683 that all of China was under Qing rule.

    Mongol and Tibetan tribes

I'm uanime5 and I'm here to explain the starting position of the various Mongol and Tibetan tribes.

    Mongols

After the loss of the Yuan capital Dadu (modern-day Beijing) the Mongols were forced to retreat to Mongolia, where they established the Northern Yuan dynasty. After the Battle of Buir Lake the Yuan Mongols were defeated by the Ming Chinese and the Mongol capital of Karakorum was sacked and destroyed. This greatly reduced the power of the Northern Yuan.

By the 15th century the most powerful Mongols were the Four Oirats. The Four Oirats reached the height of their power in 1450 when their leader Esen Taishi defeated a Ming army and captured the Ming emperor. However the Ming responded by chosing a new emperor and Esen Taishi eventually had to release the previous emperor without getting a randsom.

The supremacy of the Four Oirats ended in the 1480's when Dayan Khan was able to defeat them and at the end of the 15th century most of the Mongol tribes were united into six tümens under the control of the Northern Yuan. While the power of Yuan wained after Dayan the ruler of the Chahar Mongols, Tumen Zasagt Khaan, was able to unite most of the Mongols tribes. Unfortunately after his death in 1592 these alliances ended and his son was only able to rule in name.

The rise of the Manchu would result in the end of the Yuan. While the Mongols and the Manchu initially has friendly relationships as the Manchu wanted to use the Mongols against the Ming in 1620 Nurhachi broken off relations and by 1624 most of the Eastern Tümens had sided with the Manchu. The Yuan's leader Ligdan Khutugtu Khan responded with punitive expeditions against other Mongols tribes, resulting in more Mongol tribes siding with the Manchus. In 1632 the Manchu Emperor Hong Taiji and his Mongolian allies undertook a campaign against Ligden but he fled with 100,000 Chakhar Mongols to Qinghai in Tibet, where he later died of smallpox. His son Ejei Khongghor Khan surrendered to the Manchu in 1634, ending the rule of the Northern Yuan.

    Tibetans

After being conquered by Kublai Khan in 1264 control over Tibet was given to Drogön Chögyal Phagpa and after his death in 1280 Tibet was ruled by the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Sakya ruled until 1354 when Tai Situ Changchub Gyaltsen overthrew them and founded the Phagmodrupa Dynasty. However by 1564 the Phagmodrupa Dynasty had lost most of their power and the Tsangpa dynasty became the dominant power in Tibet.

In 1577 Sonam Gyatso of the Gelug schools of Tibetan Buddhism met with Altan Khan, the ruler of the Tümed Mongols. Altan gave Sonam the title of Dalai Llama, while Sonam converted the Tümed Mongols to Gelug Buddhism. As a result of converting the Mongols to Gelug Buddhism Sonam Rapten, the chief attendant of the 5th Dalai Lama (Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso), was able to convince Güshi Khan of the Khoshuts Mongols to conquer Qinghai in 1636, defeated the Khalkha Mongols at the Battle of the Bloody Hill in 1637, and overthrow the king of Beri in Kham in 1639; unting most of Tibet under the Dalai Lama. In 1642 Güshi confirmed supreme authority of Tibet on the 5th Dalai Lama, while the Dalai Lama confirmed the position of Dharma king of Tibet on Güshi. Consequently the Dalai Lamas were the effective rulers of Tibet until the 1959 uprising.

I think after nobunaga's dead the Oda clan split into two faction. Nobukata Oda in Mino province, and Nobukatsu Oda in Owari province.

I don't think the clan was ever split that way. You may be thinking of the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute in Owari between Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and the forces of Oda Nobukatsu and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Also Oda Nobukatsu later succeeded Oda Hidenobu as the Oda daimyo.

    3. How to change daimyo units ? (example like Sekigahara Campaign, Masamune use mounted matchlock cavalry as bodyguard)
    4. whether it would work if i just use the PFM, and not official tools like Assembly kits ?
    5. How to add new general to the faction ?
    6. How to change Daimyo's name ?

    Thats is for now.

I've added another video about the Japanese clans that are no longer playable. It's a little later than normal as I had some computer problems.

In the factions DB table rename iga_ninja to ashikaga and ashikaga to iga_ninja. This will swap the Hattori clan with the Ashikaga clan.

    2. Tutorial how to make Frontend Ui ?
What part do you want to change?

    3. How to change daimyo units ? (example like Sekigahara Campaign, Masamune use mounted matchlock cavalry as bodyguard)
You'd need to make a new military group if you want the bodyguard to be different. You'd need to make a new culture if you want the general to be different.

    4. whether it would work if i just use the PFM, and not official tools like Assembly kits ?
Anything that doesn't involve editing the startpos should be possible using PFM.

    5. How to add new general to the faction ?
Very difficult to do as you need to change a lot of things in the startpos.

    6. How to change Daimyo's name ?
You need to find the faction in the startpos, find the right character, then change their name.

Ok sir thanks for answering my question, but about number.1 when i try to change iga_ninja to ashikaga its work fine, because i've already test it. This is my problem when i tried it i do not see any change at all, everything look same, and i've followed the same way like u.

2.Skin when we start the game, like the clan circle button.

So you changed the name of both factions in PFM, but when you started Shogun 2 and selected Hattori you played as Hattori rather than Ashikaga?

They're in data.pack\UI\frontend ui\skins. You'll need to replace the Hattori button with one that has the Ashikaga symbol.

I actually do not just replace iga_ninja to ashikaga and ashikaga to iga_ninja.as you said earlier, and when I tried to show his chart position is in kyoto, but when i'm play it still remain hattori clan. (maybe i do some mistake?)

Oh about the skin can we create new skin at photoshop ?

Which campaign are you playing? I ask because in Morning Sun 2 the Ashikaga clan no longer exists.

Yes. Any image file can be remade in photoshop.
