Problem Running the Batch file as administrator on window 8

I can start the game with double click on batch file but if I want to start it as admin via the right click run as admin it not work. I tried a work around via the command prompt admin, and the . bat start fine if I rename it without the space.

Im on windows 8 and if I remember run as administrator right click was working back on my window 7 laptop.

I tried the shortcut to desktop and avanced option admnistrator boxe, but same thing, message cant find the path medieval2. So I dont want to always start from cmd, because of the path on steam are quite something. I know it more a problem from window 8 maybe but it doing this with all my .bat from other mods too and I just use run as admin for this game.
I have found some clue on google, that maybe it in the path, so it cant include a space and a @ in the same line. Anyone know a way I can change the path, or any work around for an easy right click start? I have see I can convert the .bat to .exe too, so any thought on this are welcome thanks, and sorry for bad english.

If you can start the mod normally, why are you trying to run it as an Administrator?

Just set the kingdoms.exe to run as an Administrator ( right mouse click - Properties - Compatibility ), and start TATW, it will be the same thing as setting TATW.bat file to run as an Administrator.

Thank a lot for your reply. My .exe are already set to run as admin. I have experienced lot of CTD with this game in the past and was all almost corrected by installing and running as admin. Now I always run as admin. just to be sure even if all rights and prorieties are set to full control. I still dont remember if I was able to run the .bat as admin on window 7 or if it I bug with window 8 or something. Thank again anyway I waited for this answer confirmation for 2 days since I just installed the new DaC 1.0 I wanted to be sure all was good and properly used
