    Default descr_projectile error on launch

I'm getting an error upon launching which is shown in the log file, it says it was expecting "radius" where "no_ae_on_ram" is. I've tried reinstalling both Medieval 2 and EBII and they are not located in program files or anything of the sort. I've also tried rearranging descr_projectiles according to what the log says it was "expecting" on the specified lines, but eventually ran into a problem where it was expecting "model or triangle" and there were multiple entries starting with model. On another note when i run launch.bat as an administrator I get a system 32 error saying it couldn't find the M2TW executable, this doesnt show up in any of the logs though.descr_projectile.zipeb.system.log.txt.zip

What version are you playing? I haven't seen that error since 2.0.

Your installation sounds thoroughly messed up, I'm afraid.

What did you use to edit the descr_projectiles? If you used Windows Notepad, it's probably corrupted. You should only use Notepad++ or another proper editor to edit the game's files. Not that it should have needed any modification at all.

I actually got it to start up last night and did a few tests this morning. Everything is working as expected. I reinstalled M2TW and EBII for a third time and this time I didn't use the installer. One thing I noticed was that this time kingdoms.exe showed up where every other time it was missing and i had to create one thinking it was just merged with medieval2.exe. I believe this was the problem, although I still don't understand why that caused an error with regards to descr_projectiles. I did use notepad, but it was throwing the error long before I modified it. Thanks for the help Quintus, great mod btw.

No problem. If you're planning any future file modification, get yourself Notepad++.
