    Default Steam Installation Issues

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to install the game on Steam.

I uninstalled Medieval II because I want to reinstall it to a new hard drive. However, every time I try to do this, it not only reestablishes the old directory, it changes my Steam settings so the old library becomes my default again.

Neither of these things are acceptable and I've been trolling around to see if there's a solution but nothing is forthcoming. How do I fix it?

You may have to re-install Steam to change the library directory - unless there is an option within steam to set the library.

Running a registry cleaner before re-installing might help as well.
