RS III crashes

Hi.
Just installed RSIII - looks awesome.

Will only run with BI for me, RTW just does not load during first screen.
Plays with BI, however after first battle with Hannibal it CTD's .
No message just CTDs'
Do not have this problem with the 2.6 version!
Any ideas ?

Also, I have two Rome discs..a Rome Total War Anthology & Rome Total War Gold Edition.
I have RSIII with the BI disc from the Anthology pack. It does not work with the Gold edition one.
Is there a reason?
