A letter arrives from Manderford, declining the offer of trade.
A messenger from Tumbleton arrives, seeking to exchange fruits of the Reach for armour of the Stormlands.
The Stormlander progress passes in sight of the newly rebuilt royal residence of Summerhall. Halting outside the gates, the lengthy train of Lords and Ladies requests entrance to the royal residence.
Ser Tristan did his best to keep the guards of the Train aware and attentive. It was difficult as the trip so far had been mostly uneventful, but summerhall was royal grounds and Tristan was suspicious. For would it not be best for the king for the stormlands to stay in a regency for as long as possible? So he stayed alert and somewhat paranoid.

Byren Caron the young Castellean of Summerhall would have the solar prepared for the Lordly procession. Chairs were provided with refreshments for all in attendance. When the Lord Baratheon is brought in Byren rose and bowed respectfully to Lord and Lady Batatheon. "My Lord welcome to Summerhall. Please make yourself comfortable."

"Very hospitable, Lord Caron, I thank you." Baratheon replied with a grin, taking a seat opposite the brother of Mathis. They looked alike, naturally, which was odd - it was like staring at a younger version of his former guardian.
"This is a fine place, truly fit for a prince." He took a swig of wine as he spoke, genuinely impressed with the size of the palatial complex. "I imagine it will be difficult to relinquish this place, when the time comes." It was furnished with extensive gardens, complete with expensive ornamental statues and sculptured. On top of that, it was surrounded by acres of fine hunting land. Definitely a cooler and more vibrant place than the Red Keep, should a royal court ever stay there.
Byren greets his brother warmly before returning to his own seat. "That it will my Lord. I have done most of the decorating my self since the keeps was quite bare when I was given it, and few lands rival the game in these woods. If you would like my Lord we could go hunting on the morrow. "

"A man after my own heart!" Baratheon hooted with glee, providing an enthusiastic nod. "When will the younger Blackfyre take up his inheritance?"

"I believe the young prince is eleven now. So a few more years yet." He says shaking his head, "The King may intend to keep me on as the Prince's guardian for a few years, but I'm not sure what I will do when this appointment is done."

"It would be a shame to see a loyal man go to waste, Lord Caron, if you are indeed merely thrown aside." Baratheon said sadly, with a shake of the head. "You are always welcome at Storm's End. After all, we may be kin soon - your nephew is to be wed to my sister."
He chuckles, "I'm not sure, it would be a better fate then some of the King's other loyal men met with." Still smiling he continues, "I will keep that in mind if I am looking for work when this post is done my Lord."
"Hah! Better disgraced than a head on a spike, eh?" The jape was true enough, with Spotted Tom's recent demise in unclear circumstances.
He chuckles at the jest, "Aye that it is. May I ask how fares Storms End?"

"Its been managed well enough, in my absence. Soon I shall hold a tourney there, one which you shall be welcome to attend of course."
"I would be honored to attend my lord. I always welcome a chance to show what the Stormlands are made of." He still smarted over the loss to Bywater at Lannisport.
