Just wondering. This information is hard to find since the wiki is not properly updated for DLCs.

Beastmen have no females. And Blood & gore did not add anything besides blood & gore. So....no.
But next on the list is a free Vampire LL and probably a LL/mini campaign DLC. I still root for Neferata.

No offense, Irella, but what's up with you and your obsession with female characters in TW games?
I believe everyone should get a leader/character they can idenfity as, even a little bit. This is an empire-building game, and immersion is a super important part of it. I'd much rather play as someone my gender. It might sound shallow but it's just the way I feel, and I'm sure I'm not the only one
In my opinion Warhammer TW, just like all of the previous Total War games, ignores women and the role they play(ed) in the historical/fantasy settings.
It doesn't hurt to ask/remind about this from time to time.
I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier to any of the posts but I was away, and only just caught up on them. Thanks for moderating this thread and for all the replies. I think the game would be overall better with a little bit more women's representation
I was really hoping for a female Vampire legendary lord ; n ;

Okay that would limit me to only playing the Empire and Karl Franz.
I cant identify with Baltasar Gelt because he is an Magican and Magic doesn't exist.
Do realy believe you can identifiy yourself with an Orc Warboss or Dwarf King, Chaos Lord, Beastmen Chieftain or Vampire Count?
By the way Total War series is a Strategy Game not an RPG
Well don't be to fast you are!
You have to know the histories of warhammer and games-workshop.
GW starte out by selling D&D books, but later on wanted to create their own game.
Which became warhammer, which was a rpg with units and monsters.
The game evolved by time to what we have today 8th edition.
It is not much of a rpg compared to the first version, but players are still encourage to roleplay.

I was Talking about Total War not Warhammer
But even if we Talk about Warhammer it is an Table Top and not an P&P
so Strategy not RPG
Plenty of influential female figures in the WH universe. Here's some reading:
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...kia_the_Bloody
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Morathi
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Alarielle
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi..._the_Ice_Queen
Obviously she's a fantasy analog for Catherine the Great, so she satisfies both requirements being at once historical and fantastical.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Khalida_Neferher
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wi...a_von_Carstein
eetc etc. All of these are for factions that either haven't been released yet, or are soon to be expanded upon. Anyway, seeing as the game was only recently released and is getting new DLC every 3 weeks, maybe you shouldn't start making grand pronouncements about the game ignoring women.
Wood elves closest bet. 2nd Game for sure w Dark Elves. Maybe Bretts when they are released.
Yes indeed, the Elves will have plenty no doubt.
Of the existing factions there aren't any that really have legendary female characters other then the Vampire Counts. Best bet may be Isabella von Carstein or the leader of the Lahmia sect, don't know what her name is....My tips for the Dark Elves would be Malekith and the Hag Queen.
Truth be told, there just aren't that many female named characters at all in the source material. Of the five base factions in the game (haven't looked beyond them yet, myself) there are only two named characters out of all of them - the aforementioned Isabella von Carstein for the Vampire Counts and Valkia the Bloody for the Warriors of Chaos.
Only other 8th edition army book I have is for the High Elves and the only named female character in that is a Lord option named Alarielle the Radiant. Anything beyond those six factions, you'll have to ask someone else who actually has those books.
radical feminism again. do we have to plague every game/movie/tv show with forced female characters? you will get lgtb wood elves soon anyways.
if there is something i respect about gw then it's not jumping on this annoying pc bandwagon.
But yeah the current playable faction is not famed for having female characters, expect for Vampire count"S".
But Wissenland is suppose to have a female elector count, the Emmanuelle von Liebwitz
But you can check out the list here:

Guess I won't hold my breath in hoping future DLCs will introduce female characters then
CA/Sega would rather invent a generic non-canon "Eben" than have a lore-accurate female faction lord
(unless it can be proven that "Eben Von Liebewitz" exists in GW's canon)
Well If they add Arkhan, he should be his own faction with his own goal, serving his master.....
Well I know a few things about the how the game works, and it is possible to have a female faction leader.
And nope Eben is made up, I hope CA fix that one day, maybe the same day they make elector counts playable.

No way, the whole reason the End Times were hilarious was because Captain Mannfred "I'm My Own Man" von Carstein was working for Nagash the entire time. He was just too stupid (or self-involved) to know it. Arkhan remarks on it over and over again throughout the books, while they're working together.
