Installation Problem
I bought M2TW after playing the demo, however I've been unable to install it. The file localized.pack is never copied, and a transfer feature error pops up. I tried a desktop install, but again, I can't copy localized.pack from the DVDs. I took it back to the store and replaced it for another copy, and the same thing is happening.
I sent an e-mail both to sega and creative assembly but have not gotten a response yet. Finally I hoped to find that file for download online (I know that's technically illegal, but I really really wanted to play it). I found a russian localized.pack and when I attempted to install the game with it, it worked, but of course I don't want to play M2TW in russian so I'm still hoping to find the solution.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Installation Problem
Wow, so I was trying to install it again after I posted and an idea came to me. I didn't think it had anything to do with my DVD ROM or my computer, but I decided to try and get localized from my laptop.
Now my laptop has had a problem with it's drive where it 90% fails to read CDs and DVDs, but having no other hope I decided to try. Lo and behold, it read it and I was able to copy localized.pack to the desktop. Then I simply used a pen drive to get it to my computer... Right now I'm copying the disk to the desktop and will try to install it this way but it looks hopeful. I'll confirm whether it worked or not once I'm done.
But it seems the answer is simply to try copying that file using other computers and see if they can do it. Probably is something software wise (install shield/windows installer) that has a problem copying that file.

Re: Installation Problem
It worked, I hope that helps someone else having the same problem.
