Who is the Most Promising Youngblood?
Its nice to see my name here.
I did vote for Zender9, has held his own against far more experienced players in Westeros section, seems to be doing rather well in main section aswell. There are a few others i considered but i think Zender has proven himself more than once.
I've heard good things about Zender9 from here and there while I've heard next to nothing of the others achievements, some research is in order before I vote here...
Happy to see my name here! Zender is indeed formidable buy I have managed to take him down a few times![]()
Zender9 by far! That guy knows his stuff.
For me saleska is the clear choice. In relatively short time he has started doing lotta useful things for the community that any GS wouldnt be ashamed of. I except that in future he will be doing even more.
But is this award for general contribution or skill on the map? I figured it was the latter, so zender9 seemed like an obvious choice.
This is not the Most Constructive vote Jadli, while Saleska has done 'useful things' that is not what Most Promising Youngblood is about. It's about in-game player skill and potential, not opening threads.
It IS the latter, make no mistake about that. Most Promising Youngblood is not Most Constructive.
It's about capability and skill as a player.
I would pick him anyway tho
I voted for Kilicarslan. I fear him most of all other nominees
And I'd also like to promote myself: I've been around for half a year and think I've done big progress, while others are playing here second or third year, so their time of being newbloods has passed![]()
All are great opponents here I enjoy facing, but I have beaten every other player here but ramble, who I haven't played a full hs against yet to see how he plays. I actually face zender saleska and kili all as foes at once successfully in British isles and almost all in crusader and Italian wars among others
British island mod was unfair.I was not even getting generals except the ones turn to me from you. Also my rebels are turning to you too.Its a different kind of hotseat. And in Italian wars you betrayed me and defeated me only at Tunisia. Its not a big deal since i can bring reinforcements to there. In final you will probably defeat me at Balkans too but thats because i will be fighting with everyone.Anyway i will see you in other hotseats.
Well you surely beat me, but I do think that you havent had a real fair matchup against Kilicar yetIn both Crusades and British Isles you had a serious lead
I still voted for you tho :3
It is true we have never faced each other on perfectly even footing Zender. But all I can go on is where we have faced (same for Kilicar and the rest of course), and I have come well ahead in any exchange thus far and prevent you or others from scoring any major hits on me. Its true your faction had general issues, but I still faced multiple foes, including you at once, and still managed to defeat your armies in the East and West and subsequently eliminate you. Italian wars I also faced Kili at the same time as you (still do) and also your army invading my islands by boats. It is true we will have to face more to truely see who comes on top though
I do look forward to it Ramble, Cumans need some time to even field an army in early era haha should you choose to continue.
And Saleska you know you have my vote for Constructive Player no question
Just my two cents:
I played against the first three players. All three are promising, but Ramble is the most promising IMO. In Teutonic Terror II he destroyed HRE as Poland before I defeated him. In 'Hungary against the Nations' he slowed me down for a while and successfully blocked Spain. In Teutonic Warfare he's building a great empire. I subbed his last turn and his tactical moves were mostly great so far.
Zender betrayed me in HatN but he mostly damaged my other ally Venice. He's losing the war but made some good choices, his best move was taking Rome.
I also played against saleska in Teutonic Terror II. He blocked me for a couple of turns as a weaker Lithuania but then sacrificed his main army and lost. He's also playing very well in Teutonic Warfare.
I heard good things about the other two guys but I'll vote for a player I know personally. Looking forward to play with them too.
