I'm little confused about the high and late units because the Latin empire stop existing in 1261.

Well does that mean that every nation will have late units. That actually is a good idea.
i disagree, adding late period units to latins will only weaken their neighbours a lot.Especially Bulgarians which don't have elite infantry. And if every faction get ''what if'' late period units it will delay the release of the full mod by a lot
+ every faction will feel the same(it kinda feels the same already)

I disagree with you because when you play with some nation and you manage to the late game and your stays with early or high era units it will be very strange and it won't make any sense and your army will be much weaker than the others. And for example for Bulgaria could be added elite units (when the developers have time of course).
Every faction is going to have three tiers of units for the campaign. The campaign politics and situation reflects the start of 1212 and the 14th-15th century reflects technology changes over time and game progression. For the factions that do not survive into the 14th or 15th century in history will be given fictional units reflecting the later eras.

Thanks to Warman for taking these pictures due to my laziness of not testing the units in a build before sending over the units to him. Tomorrow I will show the Emperor for Tier 2.
Is it possible for you guys to post these pics to some other site than imgur, since the site is banned in my country I can't see the photos. And VPN is slowing the Internet so much that I have to wait for photos to show up too long. But the pics posted to other sites appear really fast.
>Handgonners
>Tier 2
um, really?
Mongolians coming from the East would bring Chinese gunpowder weapons around the early 13th century. Due to location, the Latin Empire would most likely experience early exposure to it if they continued to survive past Baldwin II reign. The hand gunners would be the last tier 2 unit researched to unlock in the campaign.
Nice attention to detail. ^^

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.
